yeah, the Zastava IS a communist car. SFR Yugoslavia was a communist state, albeit one that detested the soviets.

I’m not sure if anybody is currently defending a car or not, or whether we’re content to blow up Yugos :joy:

If we’re moving on, I’ll set myself up for a roasting:

dude …just so ugly and city and non-Australian like… Don’t you know its people like you that killed Ford Australia…hang on wait that was the last 4 PM’s or whatever we have had in the last 5 years… sorry continue…at least it cant be mistaken for a Mondeo

@Deskyx …Hmmmmmm well you could have bought a real MR2 but nope how about a non-boosted POS MRS…long live the 4AGZE AW11

Yeah Ford was set up to fail by other larger factors, leave Honda out of that

Looks are polarising, I’ll definitely grant that. I think it’s more interesting than most and I can always find it in a crowded car park, especially in that colour. And it has a ton of storage space.

As for being a City car, well, duh, I’m a city person like 98% of our population :stuck_out_tongue: , but that’s not to say I haven’t taken this rural and even a bit offroad. It’s up for well more than it looks.

Come on I know there’s worse to be said!

I don’t have a car…

But I have this:

It says its Armani…It looks Armani… but it falls apart like taiwanese t-shirt

I know you think it looks great, but I think it looks like somebody’s cheeks being mashed in from both sides. And the whole triangular grille is horribly forced when the car’s shape is more akin to a brick.

Also those car ads. “It’s not a car, it’s an Alfa”. Holy shit, can you achieve any higher levels of wank? :joy:

Italian build quality mixed with the most incompetent American car company. What could go wrong?

cough

That was the before photo.

This is the after:

I see Alfa Romeo has come out with a nice Giulia hatchback model. :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven’t yet seen the inevitable proliferation of wrecked Giulias, once the car actually starts finding its way to the public

it’s coooooooming

So are the maintenance billllllllsssssss

I could do this all day, because Alfas have a 100% track record of being unreliable and subpar build quality, which, I’ll add, is something reviewers noted even about the interior of the Giulia, so you know this is indefensible

I’d just like to say from personal experience
What a load of bollocks

damn, I knew I shouldn’t have said 100% :joy:

Gotcha, I am that .00001 percent :stuck_out_tongue:

But seriously though, i believe the unreliability gag is out of date. I’ve had 9 Italian cars and they have been no better or worse than the other nationalities’ cars I’ve owned
