It runs better when it’s fed pureed Prius You can all eat my (environmentally friendly) smoke
Lolololol I love it. “Let’s run an eco race with a 9l v8”
I want that engine in my next car.
Also Vic you cheeky bugger, that’s it, let’s play for keeps! I definitely won’t place that well in the whole event (my budget was stretched very tight as I like using all my money), but we should think of a forfeit or something for whoever has a slower lap time! Something like… I dunno. Using the letter decals to spell out some obscene message like GRYPHON GEAR SUCKS EXHAUST on my next publicly released model in the case that I lose.
How about it?
At the risk of having to download badges and install them, you’re on, buddy.
Should (or when) I lose the lap challenge to you, my next public submission will have to be some bright, overly offensive pastel color, and say ARDENT: SPARKLE PARTY INSIDE. (or Suzume, if it’s a Suzume… or something like that).
Haha yessss now we’re talking! My team’s gonna kill me for making the bet though…
and in the meanwhile PMC is sitting on the sideline chucking…
Oh don’t think you’ll be excluded from this club in the future there, Comrade.
Part 2 is up!
Price
Green Monster: 4/10, close to the requirements.
Ardent Avenger: 3.5/10, also nearly breaking the regulations.

RS-01 ER: 3/10, same as the Mushu, but to a slightly lesser extent.
07CobaltGirl: 5/10, Priced pretty well.
ME Abstichrinne: 8/10, pricier than the Toyoko but still very cheap.
X-32-Seepster: 4/10, good power and light weight can’t hide the skinniest tires in the competition.
Prato Zoope Eco Racer: 6/10, decently priced.

Sorry for posting this late again. I’ll post the results after this. Get your popcorn and place your bets!
SO far PMC has kept it consistent, decent in all categories!
Huh???
Okay, normally, I don’t mind whatever a tournament host declares, but this time, I’m formally protesting. You did NOT mention anything like an elimination system in your original post, or anywhere, as far as I know, in the leadup to the competition results. Quote me where you did prior to this page, and I’ll withdraw the protest, but I’ve been through all the pages in this thread and simply don’t see it, particularly in the original post (where all of the necessary information ought to be).
Clearly, I argue that changing the rules and structure of a tournament with the purpose of excluding participants on criteria not mentioned before entries close is the highest level of unfair from the perspective of tournament organisation. If I had known that you would be using an elimination system by scoring the categories progressively, I would have used a very different approach. As it is, we had no indication beforehand, so your actions appear entirely arbitrary and non-transparent. Furthermore, we don’t actually have any real indication on how this will affect scoring in the future rounds, as I’m wiling to say that my entry’s strong point would have been the time around the track, but if my time is not listed, is that going to skew how you’re scoring?
In the interests of fairness, I request that you retract the eliminations and reinstate both Kristina’s and my entry into the competition proper.
EDIT: protest has been resolved. Cheers!
I second that. There’s no reason to just axe them from the competition because they score low. Let them play it out, see if they improve their standings at all in another way.
(and I say that knowing full well that strop will annihilate me on lap times)
You know what, I am an asshole. I’m soooo sorry, so please take my apology… Even if it’s kinda, um, let’s say quick.
You’re not eliminated or anything.
But I’m sorry. Really. Honestly.
Edited the old post.
I’m really sorry.
And I admit being a total dick.
Thanks man. I’m grateful for the decision!
LOL

Didn’t really bother me. My car sucked, and I knew it.
The time has come… the race results are in! But first, let’s recap on some great moments in the race.
The Green Monster was very quick on the straights! He passed everyone with his huge engine! However, in the corners he kept on sliding… and sliding… and sliding some more… He should’ve participated in the D1 drift championship! However, frequent fuel-ups and tire changes would also prevent what seemed to be a great formula. 6/10.
The Ardent Avenger’s 4WD and power helpe it breeze past the competition. Above average fuel consumption helped when others were constantly in the pits refueling. The 4WD grip did cause a few tire changes, but that’s about all. On-track, it was one of the best all-rounders. 8/10.
Toyoko’s Sundiamond ECORUN was very good all-around. Exceptional fuel economy prevented it from refueling, and more than adequate power with 4WD meant it didn’t disappoint on the track. Another great all-rounder. 8/10.
Mushu had a blast in the corners. No matter what you threw at it, it would just drive as if it were on rails. However, when it came down to straightaways, the power let down the car a little, but the handling more than made up for it. Fuel economy wasn’t very good. 6.5/10.
The RS-01 ER was the Honda Accord of the group. That’s not to say it was boring, but it’s to say that it did everything well or as well as expected. Good power, good handling, and good economy didn’t lead to anything out of the ordinary. Just the occasional pit-stop and elegance itn styling. 7/10.
07CobaltGirl was the Magikarp of the group. Weak economy and a lackluster powertrain didn’t exactly make it “fast,” and it saw the fuel pump often. However, the driver did have fun in it. And that’s all that counts, right? 4/10.
The ME Abstichrinne was also an Accord, but better than an Accord. So, great all-round and infrequent pit stops. With an added screaming engine! Pleased the crowd. 7.5/10
The X-32-Seepster is a strange car in this competition. It was the worst performer on the track, due to ultra-skinny tires. However, it didn’t visit the pump often, so there are bonus points there. 5.5/10.
Do you remember the RS-01 ER? The Prato Zoope Eco Racer had the exact same story. Everything was good, but nothing special. 7/10.

Toyoko Sundiamond ECORUN! with a total of 33.5 points!
You will receive your prize tomorrow. This time, I promise it.
THANK YOU ALL for participating, I’m sorry for stupid things and lateness, but all that is well ends well.
I hope to see all of you next time! Thank you all!
I lied. Here’s your terribly photoshopped prize TODAY! With added 4WD smoke, burnout, city, and lights.
PMC, we make decent cars, consistently :-p
Well, 4th is nothing to be ashamed about. 4th is very good. I’d get, like, 7th xD
Got a question, do we get to see lap times? Or are we free to post our own stats now?
