Yeah, well, Brian was adjusting to being a director when he put it in progress. He had almost no idea, was panicking, and seeing how Elisa’s sports cars were usually succesful, he made this. It sold enough to complete its debt, though.
Some people may have to compensate, there you go.
I didn’t understand? xD
I was replying to your earlier post about the car that had penises for tail lights.
Oh sorry
No worries, just being facetious.
You have some neat cars by the way.
Thanks.
@ramthecowy wait wut? I think we’re not looking at the same car mate.
I really like the exterior @matheius and the overall design of the car but why did you choose space frame chassis?Monocoque is lighter, stiffer. Also, and this is a tip, but you don’t want the redline right at the peak power, that means either that the Rev limiter is choking the engine or you’re missing revs. Usually the Rev limit is a couple of hundred rpms after the peak power, and that is so you power don’t drop drastically when you change gears and so you don’t hit the Rev limit when going full throttle.
Edit: i went full DERP missing revs is the same as Revlimiter choking engine
- I don’t really know. I usually always use monocoque, and i wanted to make this unique.
- I didn’t know about that. I always thought, that if you shifted right at peak, then you’d go faster because in higher revs you wouldn’t lose power. Guess I was mistaken.
Thanks for the feedback!
I was referring to the Gargoyle… wbu?
@matheius Yes, it’s alright to make a car unique, sadly current space frame looks nicer than it helps xD But I kind remember the devs saying that we will get modern space frame chassis like Audi’s eventually.
I used to think the same about that, changing gears in games right in the peak power, but it seems it works better the other way. One rule of thumb is to increase the Rev limit until the performance index stops increasing (but beware of the reliability). If you increase it too much or the power curve is weird, during the test track the car will change gears in the most optimal point.
Yeah, it’s happened to me already.
So. Having already released two sports cars in a row, Brian thought it appropiate to make another dirt-cheap city car. But, in a big difference to the Mikrone, the Cititee sold pretty well.
Elisa, 1985, after a big break, then made the Traslade mk3 roll out of factorys. Surprisingly enough, the Traslade mk3 had a perfect weight distribuition. “Don’t ask me how, but it does”, says Brian.
Became the AE86 in a van body? Hell yeah, would hoon 10/10
If you want more sideways perfection, then look at this.
The Elisa Monkee, Elisa’s first (and only) hot hatch. Like the Traslade, this one has a really good weight distribution (only the traslade was 50/50, this one is around 49/51 or 47/53).
The car resulted to be pretty famous in rallyes.
Wait a sec, i’ll see
It’s called N_Grille11. I think you can get it in the steam workshop pack.
