So right now the top battles from each day are the Pantera/Elise (Day 1, 51/49%) and the Trans Am/MX-5 NB (Day 2, 50/50% wow).

The latter is quite the surprise. I was expecting the MX-5 to fly ahead based on name rep alone… That will be a fun one to watch!

Look! A loser bracket time. In case someone did not catch it, if a car loses in the main bracket, it gets one more chance, by competing in a so called losers bracket. The winner of this bracket will go on to face off against the winner of the main bracket in this tournaments grand finale.

Today, 13 of such cars will continue to fight, and 13 will lose the last chance they have, and it’s up to you to determine which are gonna be which.

Oh, and yesterday polls are still running, of course.

Yep I’m pretty much done over here; I love JDM and all but people went all JDM over fantasy supercar… sniff

I kinda get it though, you’ll never actually get your hands on either a Furai, because it’s dead, or a CX-75, because it never made it past prototype stage, which means to see one you’ll have to go to Goodwood

Well that’s what made me vote against the Furai. I love the thing, it’s a wonderful design application on an average LMP2 chassis, but it only completed half of its phoenix reputation (yes it’s the part where it burned to ashes on its death)… Those memories are too painful to dredge. sniff

And its successor, the LM55, isn’t much better because it’s just a roller. But hey, the Furai is leading the battle against the 458! There’s still hope for it too!
