Got Rice? Tuners challenge [Coming back/Revision]

@Strop

  1. You can only overbore - overstroke engines in the variants tab, no changing of families, see rules
  2. No changing of chassis materials true, also should had written no changing of suspension parts ( I do think the quality sliders only affect the selected trim, I’ll test it out)

@Koolkei

Thanks for pointing that function out, it will not be allowed

So if there is no changing of families, which is fine, then what does this refer to:

Does this mean that I’m also only allowed to change the stroke or the bore of the original variant by 0.3mm each way? 3mm each way? Or am I allowed the full range of motion as allowed by the variant?

If the engine variant capacity allows up to 3mm

Rats, I should have probably checked that over with you before. That’ll take a fair bit of policing, but glad I clarified it!

(You may wish to add the units in the original rules.)

I fixed quite a lot of rules, man.

Chassis quality does transfer to all trims, so as the change in panel materials… Well chassis tab tuning is no longer available

well dang… i just went full capacity all the way…

Yep, that was one benefit of my entry. Now i only have the downside of having a heavy engine.

Presenting my Vissan Groundline!!!

This was a quick car to start with so I’ll be unlikely to win any percentage awards but I’m happy with my entrants so… LET’S RIDE!!! :sunglasses:

So, what did we do to the Mariat? We removed 80% of the chrome, and replaced the inner headlights for more cooling/vents, and added more vents at the bottom.

Added the big wang.

Rice, Rice baby.

Now now, let’s keep it simple.

Paintjob, GT wing. ALL RICED UP!
(Ok, maybe I did a bit more than that.)

As for the mod, I do use the High-Quality essentials but I like to keep as far away from mods as possible. Main reason being the car having a mod I don’t have or just general uncompability, I’ll give it a little thinking and maybe add High-Quality essentials as a possible allowed modpack[/quote]

Are mods OK now?

Would you believe that it goes REEEEEEEEEEE on full throttle?

When you put power dome hood on MR car you just know that shit got serous

Behold…

…the Dragotec Sx2500 Screaming Bee. 800+ hp of awesome with 0 comfort.

dear dragotec engineer.

im sorry, but your car are just too tempting.

it would be injustice to just skip it

edit: oh right…1 wing only, will correct that
but i just realised…this is a ricer challenge. why is the number of lip/wings limited again?

update: it’s just eye candy now, it’s been changed

koolkei, check your entry. That appears to violate the 1 lip (front) and 1 wing (rear) rule!

(Also that wing is a corvette6317 mod, which violates the vanilla only rule.)

(And I’m guessing the wing/lips are limited because dual elements implies some serious modifications and engineering beyond what a ‘ricer’ would have applied, though I’m getting some serious outputs from these engines with minimal changes…)

This means we can’t reshape bodies, no?

On that note, BlahLord, the rules are pretty messy. Could do with some categorizing. Body rules, engine rules etc…

I’m fairly sure this means that we’re allowed to flare the arches, but we aren’t allowed to pick new bodies.

If that’s not the case then I would definitely start to ask myself what kind of ricer contest this really is!

p.s. I’m going through all the bodies and realise the Rado pickup is not amenable to the placement of a wing over the rear tray. Is a lip acceptable in its place?

Oh, and the special indicators and the vent strips are also mods. You can’t use decorative filler without the mods. I’ve done what I can with the vanilla parts!

(Edit #4, looks like thecarlover went way more full strop on this than I did LOL. I got to 600bhp and just thought eh, this’ll do).

My peak power tune was around 600 horsepower, too. Kinda got there and figured, “This is already a bit much, so I’ll just stop right here. After all, I can’t fiddle with the quality sliders and keep it under the budget.”

I know the engine I put in the Surge. That thing’s good for 4 digits, with a few quality sliders.

As for decorative fill, I think I managed well enough with just vanilla parts.
