List cheesy/crappy/low tier taste/plebby music that you unironically love.
Personally:
1 Anything by the Cranberries
2 Eurobeat
3 What’s up
4 Mr. Brightside
5 Closer
You know what this song is.
Pretty much 90’s/00’s pop is my weakness.

okay… my guilty pleasure of music is anything by disturbed. i won’t link a vid, you can google them
EDIT: okay, my 2 favorites from them
`Well here are the ones I can think of right now
Kings of Leon - Use Somebody
https://youtu.be/gnhXHvRoUd0
Ramones - I Wanna be Sedated (everyone who games should know where this is from)
https://youtu.be/gnhXHvRoUd0
Italobrothers - Stamp on the Ground
https://youtu.be/JBN1CkyRzmE
I’m fairly open about my crappy music tastes so I’m not sure there’s anything I can contribute here besides the obvious.
80s tat, 90s tat, college rock, eurobeat, whatever, haha. I’m not sure there’s anything decent.
Also partario - that’s going to extremes man!
i hate the term. you can’t enjoy it if you are ashamed of enjoying it.
that said, my “odd” choices is stuff like Peter Gabriel, Tears For Fears, HOME, Sunflower Bean… i could go on
Oh no I am not ashamed. But in a forum of metalheads who look down on pop its the best way to word it.
i see. i love my metal, but i also have an affinity for fine pop/hip hop/country/electronic/lo-fi ect.
Moms 80’s CDs, that’s all I need to say
My tastes have universally been described as eclectic. I also tend to favour genre defying stuff. And I’m on a massive trip hop and electro-swing binge (good bg for study music). All these things are looked upon favourably in my social spheres.
What’s less kindly looked upon is my fondness for heavy wubbage and bro-step in general. It all started out with Skrillex’s breakout single:
I remember thinking “this is going to change the world”. Then I cranked it up to 11 and wound the windows down.
Wait, what? When did this happen? As far as I know most of the metalheads dislike listening to pop but don’t discourage or shit on people who do listen to pop. I don’t know of any elitists here.
My guilty pleasure… 1D.
I’m (sort of) a metalhead who absolutely loathes most pop. But there are some examples which I don’t mind.
The one I’m most guilty of is Glamorous by Fergie. It contains many things I typically dislike, but I can’t bring myself to not like it. Granted, it’s not something I listen to a lot, but it does occasionally pop into my head and stay there without much protest.
My Guilty Pleasure is Mostly Alt Rock…
So Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, Jane’s Addiction, Band of Skulls…
Strange mix of EDM and Alt Rock
I like the menace in their heavy, bassy overdriven sound. After a few singles I realised their lyrics strongly suggested that they were horribly maladjusted people who didn’t understand relationships and I couldn’t identify with them
Foo Fighters ought not to be a guilty pleasure. I guess I’m showing my age a bit when I come back at you with Linkin Park (the Meteora days, that is), Hoobastank and TRUSTCompany, which I didn’t even know was still active until I just googled to check >_<
As strop said, why would you ever feel guilty/ashamed of listening to them?
idk. Just something I binge every-so-often. Also, I saw them live… All their songs are ruined to me because of 10 min Monkey Wrench.
freeeeeeeeeeeebiiiiiiiiiiird!!!
BE DU DU DU DE DU DU DU DUD DUD DUD DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUUDUDUDUDU DAAA DAAAA DAAD ADA DAAAA DAAA
Skynrd is top tier taste, not guilty pleasure.
Now how many Australians will crucify me if I admit to not liking AC/DC?
nah you’re oka-
GRAB YOUR TORCHES AND PITCHFORKS!
-actually I’m not a fan of AC/DC either. It’s like saying you don’t have to be Bogan to be Australian hehehehehe
Wait, did someone say Timaru, Bogan Capital of New Zealand?
