How to create multiple configurations of one car and export them to BeamNG Drive?

I want to create several configurations of one car, but I can’t find how to do this.

Sandbox or Campaign, there is a bit of a difference. In sandbox, you can just clone the car and make a few adjustments, much easy.

I think the question is about those exports showing as variants of one car in BeamNG. Just exporting one by one will make them separate cars.

The BeamNG exporter supports exporting several cars as configurations of one.

How to do it:

-Step 1: Proceed to the exporter screen with your selected car
-Step 2: Uncheck “Zip-Pack Mod”
-Step 3: Set “Car Name” to any name of your preference (we will refer to it as X)
-Step 4: Set “Mod Name” to any name of your preference (we will refer to it as Y), and export the car
-Step 5: Select a trim of car you would like to add as a configuration to the previous car and proceed to the exporter screen with it
-Step 6: Uncheck “Zip-Pack Mod”
-Step 7: Set “Car Name” to X (which we chose above)
-Step 8: Set “Mod Name” to Y (which we chose above), and export the car

Repeat steps 5-8 for every car you would like to export as a configuration.

The name will be (Car name “X”+ the trim name in the designer tab). It will basically be whatever you named the car/mod in the exporter, + the trim name at the end of that. So for the Model 1, if the car in the export menu is called Model 1 and the trim in the designer tab is the Trim 1, the exported car will end up being named Model 1 Trim 1.

You can also modify it further by modifying the files in the BeamNG folder. When you have exported all the trims you want, you can go into BeamNG itself and pack the mod to make it take up a lot less space.
