International Racing Championship ( October season )

So wheelbase 95-100" eliminates both of the modern mid-engined bodies?

AAAANNNNDDDDD, the old body gives a safety penalty…

Also, I have a question about cooling. The body cannot have grilles/vents which produce over 600Kj/s at max setting, OR the cooling cannot be adjusted above 600kJ/s? Also, does Brake Airflow get included in the Cooling, or is it separate because they are different sliders?

All legal car bodies have the safety penalty. At least that´s what it says to me ingame.

The grilles and vents are not allowed to produce more than 600kj/s. And you have to cool your engine and your brakes with it, so yes, brake airflow it uncluded in the 600kj/s.

Do we have any entries yet?

I’m still working on mine. Engine ready. Car, not so much.

ditto… none of my current platforms use a legal body

The GSI Naranga has entered the pits.

Since we’re posting car pics…:

Camoria N-Style: Powered by MONO

For fuck sake -.-
Just lost my car that I was building because the fucking game crashed kjsafjcdsc :<<<

Edit: Car is rebuilt and sent in, just not as good as it originally was xD

So, to be clear, there are 5 points allowed for platform, 5 points for engine, and 5 points for trim. Additionally, the engine must produce between 295 and 300 kW. So not 294.9 and not 300.1? My car is completed, but I just want to make sure I have complied with the rules. I’ve ruled out any competitive OHV, as I simply cannot get 4000cc OHV which can produce 295-300kW. (I didn’t try turbo, because I absolutely suck with turbos) Best I could manage was 280kW (long, short, or medium stroke). The only way I managed to get past that point would reduce economy lower than 15% because of the 5 point limit. :frowning: I’m actually really bummed about it, since I like to run OHV engines.

New here, haven’t gotten around to an intro or company thread yet, but I have submitted my entry. Hopefully I don’t get beat too badly!

CE Motorsports Project 252

I used one of my mass produced V-8s, it’s a 3.8L DOHC (I think), puts out about 390 horse stock, just slapped a race intake on it, 100 octane and bam, 402 horses.

The picture with the limitations isn’t working, that must be the price to pay for leaving it to the last minute…

Has anyone saved it and can send it to me?

Camoria is using a 3.4 V8 SOHC of my own design, I actually had to detune the engine because in its original form it was putting out 330+ kW. Which is against the rules.

It’s been hard for the car designs too. The headlights were always just slightly off…#realprobs

Just realised I forgot to tune the gears and use the quality sliders… crap.

I just realized the deadline was 7 September. I kept focusing on the first race being 9 September. :frowning: Oh well.

So how did the first race go?

Yeah, I’m eager to see the results

No results yet. I´m really sorry. I had to work like crazy for the last few days, even sunday. 14-15 hours a day. We had to finish several exhibition stands in Hamburg and time was very limited.

BUT, today is my day off and i was able to check all the cars you sent in.

Short story: 7 of 8 failed to meet all requirements and restrictions. i give you 4 more days to redo and refine your cars and make them race-legal. So new entry deadline is 14th of September. Send the files in via pm and PLEASE name them correctly.

long story: I made a list of the flaws you should check. please make sure you are within the rules.

Odimur: engine displacement

jhd1124: rear suspension, rear brakes

Manche: chassis material, body material, engine material, loudness, top speed, rear brakes

harizvet1: chassis material, trim quality points

Lothoren: cooling capacity

Leonardo9613: engine reliability, top speed

oppositelock: chassis material

Chassis must be made of regular Steel !

I noticed that some of you put the quality sliders on the interior and safety on -15. Please leave the sliders at 0 if you don´t spend points on it.

Pm me if you have any questions.

Cheers

I wasn’t sure about the reliability, what do you want to say with more than 33% reliability? You meant more than 33?
