Oh, I love you all. lol
Yes, it should be Wednesday the 31st. But in my extreme laziness, I haven’t bothered to update it yet.

One more round of legality checks completed. 9 hours until deadline. I have enough cars in each class to run, but not as many as the previous season.

Not even on fast courses as La Sarthe? Either your TU is a rocket or…[/quote]
For those with very long straights it would be quicker, but on circuits like Bathurst, the straights were balanced out by the speed difference through the twisty section. I’ll just stick to the small stuff and potential pocket-rockets.
Submissions closed. There are 9 competitors in TX and 8 in TU.
Here are the specs for the TX entries.
And the specs for the TU entries.
Good luck to all! The season commences tomorrow at Laguna Seca!
Behold! I have the most ft.lbs!
I was excited when I saw I topped the power/torque figures in the TU class… Then I realized my car is a heavy pig
Power isn’t everything!
But it will certainly make quite a gap between the others and myself…
Damn it… I forgot to join… argh…
Alright guys, the green flag has dropped on the 1969 season. First up, as usual, is Laguna Seca. Because of the fewer number of entries this year both classes are more spread out. However, both classes also had one place in the race determined by one hundredth of a second.
TX results for Laguna Seca:
1st - Chipskate - 3:36.00
2nd - LeSpass - 3:36.21
3rd - Hermann1995 - 3:36.61
4th - RaduST - 3:37.23
5th - TrackpadUser - 3:39.04
6th - Paul - 3:41.46
7th - 8bs - 3:44.00
8th - np1993 - 3:44.98
9th - HighOctaneLove - 3:45.66
TU results for Laguna Seca:
1st - LeSpass - 3:38.75
2nd - RaduST - 3:40.28
3rd - Chipskate - 3:41.21
4th - TrackpadUser - 3:43.58
5th - Drake - 3:43.59
6th - 8bs - 3:44.55
7th - Ryan - 3:45.22
8th - HighOctaneLove - 3:52.33
Next race is Monday at Green Hell. Don’t forget to PM me any legal changes before then.
The Stradista is getting dusted this time around
Hmm, my car did not too bad considering the weight handicap… Although when I tested my car the time I got was slightly faster 3:43.50 You might want to double check those results…
results very slightly. You can run a car 3 time and get a 0.0-something difference each time. 3:43.59 and 3:43:50 are pretty close…
Despite the fact that I consider my TX to be better than my TU, it placed about the same…
Also Drake, that was close as hell.
I ran it again and its back at 3:43.59 again oh well I’ve noticed automation can be a bit buggy like this from time to time…
Indeed it was.
BTW, do we send in a new car file for the setup changes, or just PM the changes you want made?
just PM the values for the changes on only settings you alter. I will alter your setup for that one specific race with the new values.

Learning curves suck when you’re at the bottom of them… Maybe 1970’ll be my year

I did okay(ish) in 1968, but seem to have lost that momentum this year. See you on the podium for '70?
Yes! I scored a podium!
Looks like i’ve done everything right by entering an evolution of my last years car.
Also the competition in the TX class is quite close at the front. Hopefully this will continue on the following tracks.

I’ve compared the times on Laguna between 68 and 69, and while the times in the TU class are kinda the same, the times in the TX are significantly better.
In 68 a sub 3:40 in the TX class was good enough for a podium, now you have 5 cars with sub 3:40 times.
