Journey of ownership 2 - Rising Star - Part 2D (REVIEWS ON HOLD)

Il likely pass on this one as the Bias towards interiors is gunna put me at one hell of a disadvantage. Intrigued to see what others submit though

That’s an assumption that is not true. I will NOT judge an interior, I will however use it in the subjective analysis which is itself 33% of the total possible score I can give. If it is missing, it’s just one less thing that I can review. Also, I don’t expect perfection in interiors, just get the basics in there so I can swoop in, take a look around, and get the vibe like Kenneth would.
I would hate to see people pass up a chance to compete and gain new skills in a competition I’m hosting. That’s just not my style.

Thanks,

1972 ARMOR KESTREL BROUGHAM WAGON

It’s not cheap, but it is pretty groovy. Luxury interior, flip up headlights, and dual exhausts help the Kestrel Brougham stand out.

2 way opening tailgate, split-folding rear seats, and a 330 cid (5.4 liter) V8 help get the job done.

My first thought: “Ewwww… what?”
My second thought: “Mh, why not?”

I still think that if an interior isnt required, it shouldnt be judged at all but eh, im not the one doing the judging

It isn’t being judged. If an interior is presented, it is simply part of the subjective evaluation of the vehicle, based on the style shown. If it isn’t, then I will evaluate the subjective part without it. An interior just gives someone more canvas to show their art.

having a good interior to compliment the exterior could create a slight unconscious bias…or not, I dont get humans

I understand your concern, but in the QFC13 Lanson did well as a showmaster, and I assume he knows what he is doing here as well.
I understand it that way that a relatively basic interior will do the job - no need to build such 10-hour-things like I always do.

“Do not recite the deep magic with me Hippo, I was there when it was written”
Aka, I was there for QFC13 and even tho I got second to last, I will say Lanson did good. Tho I think he did point out that an option I had picked for Radio didnt line up with the interior dash that had a different radio…I think

1972 Primus Imperator MLF

With the 1972 model, Primus facelifted it’s flagship. Among the most noticeable things was the addition of the MLF, “Mehrzweckluxusfahrzeug”. In Austria, where the car is from, a rich business owner still does work himself - and needs to haul stuff for his restaurant, plumbing service or real estate company. In the alps, high ground clearance and 4x4 are helpful - and the Imperator MLF has an even stronger engine than the sedans, compensating for the 4x4 and other gimmicks. In German language, we call this “eierlegende Wollmilchsau”, which could be translated with “jack of all trades”.
Among the possible options we recommend for using the car’s full potential are:

  • Expedition package (lifted suspension and 4WD)
  • Utility package (tow hook and roof rack)

For the US, the Imperator 450i and the MLF 450i 2WD and 570 4WD are ready to use unleaded fuel - as stricter emission regulations will surely come. However, a catalytic converter is not yet a standard feature, but all '72 PRIMUS and GLOBUS models sold in the US are prepared for them and - surely it will come one day - a leaded ban.

Compared to a domestic fullsize wagon, the Imperator MLF offers a more sophisticated driving experience, However, we know a Vaughn costs significantly less and is surely a good car. But let us prove the PRIMUS is worth its extra cost. Call us for an appointment and you won’t be disappointed.

Strong competition here. The cars posted here are really nice, without a doubt.

The price sounds extremely competetive. My car is a lot more expensive to buy.

We are designers, we love beautiful style in everything. At least, I.
For this, you should to download luxurious keyboard from TouchPal 2019:

Watson Motors engineers have put all their know-how into the design of the Atessa Grand Estate. This car is powered by a 400ci V8 powerful and reliable enough to take you where you want to go. From a practical point of view, the Atessa is equipped with an electrically retractable tailgate. This trick provides ample access to the huge luggage compartment without being hindered by this door.

My color scheme was also very, very daring, because it’s 1972 and the weirder, the better.
However, I really like that green, reminds me of my grandparents living room in 70s GDR.

This competition is really stuffed with excellent cars, they’ll give my luxury import a run for it’s money.
