OK, I raised the budget, and I am a bit busy now, but since I doubt much will happen in 7 minutes, I will cheat and say it is open now!
Also, itβs sad we cannot use Inline 2 or boxer 2 because cars such as the fiat 126 used those type of engines

Curious, but would convertibles get a small stat buff given the game kind of hates them?
Not really. Since there are reasons why convertibles may not make 100% sense here, I decided to let them be a kind of βmake them at your own riskβ thing. Allowed, but if itβs a good idea is up to youβ¦

1984 Velt 202 Komfort Coupe
The Komfort trim comes standard with the 1.0L 50hp engine, 4 speed manual, hubcaps, a driver side wing mirror, 8-track player, bootlid spoiler, cloth seats and softer suspension tuning.
Austrian manufacturer Velt, now owned by American conglomerate AVE, has updated the 202 compact hatch with a new body style, a 3-door coupe.
It is not sporty in the slightest, but is somehow one of the best handling beam cars Iβve made.

Order your Adam Luna now, for only 6850 kr.
Heya, Iβm glad I get to participate since this challenge really inspired me again! I know this is probably not a good car considering the challenge stipulations, but I think itβs still realistic enough where it sits with the rules.

Nice car, I donβt know why would it have a third brake light though
3rd brake lights became mandatory in the US in 1986. Could just be early adapter and if the car was sold in the US, it would make sense to have a 3rd brake light even on the EU spec models.
However I should add, prior to 1986 3rd brake lights were rare even in the US. Iβd say itβs maybe a bit odd but not that out of place. After all, the nordics loved safety features.

I meant to say that they were rare/optionals on standard cars, let alone econoboxes
Call it Safety++ package and it all makes sense.

This 1984 trim of the 1980 Nuggy got the upgraded engine.
A NA 999cc single barrel eco carburetor I3
making 42hp, 64Nm of torque, and revving up to 5200RPM.
Although lacking any catalytic converter,
this little engine manages to clear on WES 5 emissions.
Itβs simple, reliable and cheap to run.
A manual 4-speed delivers the power
through an open differential on a FWD platform.
With a weight of 726kg the I3 manages to get
the car from 0-100 in a modest 17.2 seconds,
and up to a topspeed of 148km/h.
A MacPherson strut front and a semi trailing arm rear
combined with progressive springs,
and twin tube dampers result in a pleasant ride.
The interior is a standard environment with
4seats in fabric with a trendy print.
It comes with a basic 8-track and a cigarette-lighter.
