Judging by that statement, I reckon the Extasy was built solely to set lap records at circuits everywhere around the world.

Pretty much, yeah. Don’t know the laptime on the top gear track off the top of my head but it was a 1:08 or 1:09 I believe.

Edit: it was a 1:07.68

Meet the 2019 Lion Omicron 712TT

Powered by a 7L V12, which has been twin turbocharged, it generates 1357hp. 14.6L/100km for fuel economy, 382 km/h top speed with a 2.3s 0-100km/h time.

This time it is road legal though, which however does not stop it from setting a 1:06.5 on the Dunsfold airfield circuit, and clocking in a 1:50.87 at the Automation Dedicated Test Circuit. AWD, a 7-speed DCT, wide tyres, large 6-piston Carbon Ceramic brakes and a LOT of downforce complete the Omicron.

Oh, don’t forget the sidepipes.

(We’re having technical issues with the gif, because imgur decided to turn it into an mp4, standby)
