I’ve seen a high horse power thread now I am making a low and super low HP thread I’m talking about sub .5 liter engines that can run it’s whole RPM range 2000-12000 and still work. I’ll try and upload some of my attempt soon i’d love to see 100 HP or less that can still run.
Have you watched my Youtube video on this? youtube.com/watch?v=go0dtHPDSIY (second part)
Is this what you want? I think Kubboz currently holds the record with below 10 kW
Cheers!
Oh, it’s not below 10 kW.
The lowest I can get to is 10.4 kW, as you can see in the attachment.
By lowering cam profile by 1, I can get it to 10.1 kW, but it’s debatable if it actually reaches the 12000 RPM limit.

the lowest i ever got with an engine was .1 hp and .4 ft-lbs of torque but the rev-limiter was set to 2000 rpm so…
I made a 0.0 hp… with a lifespan of less than 10 MRevs
i had an engine make 0.1KW - that said - it could only idle - the momen you put it on the dyno and it idled for a bit and then went FU**IN BANG!
not terribly reliable when the main feature of the engine is it explodes D:
Not sure what you mean by working across the whole Rev limit, But here is my entry
By “across the full range” we mean non-zero power at every RPM value. So the engine you filmed is not a “valid entry” as such, even though it does generate very little power
Sorry, but what mean’s MRevs, i now this is the unit for lifespan. But exactly. Miles for overhaul??
