Poseidon Automotive Launches the All-New 2001 Dolphin – Premium Seduction in Motion

Poseidon Automotive proudly unveils its next evolution in grand touring luxury — the 2001 Poseidon Dolphin. Designed to redefine aerodynamic excellence and refinement, the Dolphin glides through the air with a class-leading drag coefficient, making it the most aerodynamically efficient sedan in its class.

Crafted under Poseidon’s guiding ethos of “Excellence Through Efficiency,” the Dolphin represents the company’s renewed focus on precision engineering, driving comfort, and timeless design.

A New Wave of Power — The Dolphin Range

The 2001 Dolphin lineup is powered by a trio of advanced Poseidon powerplants developed by Manta and Trident Powerplants Division, delivering seamless performance and refined efficiency:

  • **Dolphin Tide 3.0L I4
    ** – The perfect balance of efficiency and smooth power delivery, engineered for effortless touring.

  • Dolphin Bay 3.5L I5 – Offering increased torque and refinement, this mid-range model brings confident acceleration and quiet sophistication.

  • Dolphin Ocean 4.0L AWD – The flagship all-wheel-drive variant, tuned by Shark Motorsport, delivers commanding traction and performance across all surfaces while maintaining the Dolphin’s whisper-quiet aerodynamics.

Form Meets Function

Every surface of the Dolphin has been shaped by the wind. Its sleek, flowing silhouette channels air with precision, ensuring reduced drag and improved high-speed stability. Underneath, the advanced Ocean Chassis platform ensures strength, safety, and balance without excess weight.

Inside, the Dolphin offers a sanctuary of refinement. Sculpted leather seating, ergonomic design, and Poseidon’s intuitive drive interface deliver a premium experience built around the driver.

Engineering Excellence

“The Dolphin represents the best of Poseidon engineering — where aerodynamic purity meets power efficiency,”
said Elias Moran, Chief Engineer at Trident Powerplants.
“Our goal was to create a sedan that feels as effortless at 100 km/h as it does standing still — a true testament to mechanical harmony.”

Trying for a weekend release, I had a power outage and was dumb enough to leave my work open but not saved (so a little set back). worry not I’m back on it.

Teaser.
Top 3 cars are only 90 points between them, over all there’s only 226 points from 7th to first for part 1.
No instabins, results out tomorrow night once I get some pics of them put together. Thanks everyone for the Preem entries.

Disclaimer** my writing skills aren’t great and my jokes don’t always land so know i’m not being rude if i say something about the cars i’m trying to be snide or reference real car stuff from the era.

Javier pulls up in front of the car lot with his 400,000 mile hatch back as he looks at the newest offering. He will miss the old hatch but with the birth of his first child he knows its time to upgrade, and is excited to start the next chapter of his life hopefully with more than a 1.3L

@Capri78

The cheapest offering is the TSX with a V6 and manual RWD it seemed like a no brainer. upon looking at the car in person it seemed to good for the pricing. Then the test drive happened, The car was unspirited despite its classic manual rwd formula and V6 engine, the interior was nice to look at but the seat lacked support and the plastic panels smelled like a pack of crayons.
(despite being affordable and a decent car its stats fell short) 7th

@DuceTheTruth100

The wells is an oddball of the group, this car weighs in at over 2 tons and has a massive 3.5L I6 with a big turbo making loads of torque an amazing sound, but that comes with one of the worst in class fuel economy of only 23MPG. Its design and weight suggest a full size experience in a midsize package this is both a good and a bad thing.

(Mix of mid stats and high price) 6th

@Simmerdoor

The Ammerthal reads like a rally legend I5,Turbo, AWD, yet despite its partial alum panels its one of the most heavy cars in its class. The AWD system functions well despite this it seems heavier than it is during the driving experience, Over all a great looking Euro Sedan with a great interior.

(While a great car, it doesn’t suit the buyers needs as well as others) 5th

@PoseidonAutomotive

The Dolphin tide Is an interesting design with a 7!?! speed transmission paired to a NA 3 Liter I4 somehow getting almost 30MPG. Its a good looking mid size car that seems to lend its self to being a trendsetter where aerodynamics lead the way over style. The Satin paint and Monoblade wiper are fun choices.

(Biggest fault was the 7 speed gearbox and 4 piston F with 2 piston R vented brakes ‘wild stuff for 2001’) 4th

@abg7

The EL3 has an equally large 3.5 I6 but NA and RWD experience, the design is pleasant Asian styling with a long hood and tasteful interior. The 25MPG is once again thirsty but a great sounding engine always seams to like the petrol. 3rd

@Lil_Cretin
The Curio Features a 1.9 turbo I4 with class leading 36MPG, the seats are well supported and plush enough for the commute. The Styling is unique it has a large passenger compartment and very small over hang on the front or rear, but this works with its Italian inspired design. 2nd

@Happyhungryhippo

The Merit is a wild card with a supercharged I4 making the least amount of HP in the class. It looks the part of a euro fighter but mild mannered enough to keep you safe, but agile enough to let you feel alive. The factory stereo is best in class. 1st

(the red didn’t export to beam very well so i used one of the factory colours from you submission)

Great work from all entries, and thanks for joining my first competition!

For your first competition, It wasn’t a bad one honestly.

I’m beginning to notice a pattern with my cars being Affordable, but falling flat compared to other cars, likely because I prioritise price much more Than I probably should.

Hell yeah, my best result yet! Javier was spared from the maintenance bankruptcy that awaits any Curio buyer.

Thanks for hosting!

oh, I won? Now that´s a surprise. Thanks for hosting, the reviews might be a bit short, but comprehensive, and I think for a first time host it´s deserving praise to actually daring it and finishing it in a relatively short time period. I don´t regret having submitted to this even if I wouldn´t have won.
