Then get the new S63 AMG… Much nicer and more practical interior, as well as being nearly as fast. My point is that the CLS occupies a pointless slot in Mercedes’ model range. Same thing goes with the A7 and Gran Coupes.

That’s an awesome car. It’s great looking with a good motor and trans. I’d love to see more of it (especially vids of it running!) and I appreciate story behind it. You even got me thinking of sharing my own short history with cars on here.

Something else happened that was interesting. I brought my friend over to my house, and my Dad decided that that was the day to run the car. I asked Carlos what the fastest car he had been in was, and it turned out to be an 86 trans am. So, we took him for a ride. Gotta tell you, his face was awesome when we did a 200 yard long burnout. We also have some cooler neighbors now, who were having a grill outside and cheered us on as it happened. Much better than before!
