The engine was a 1,986 cc four-cylinder (based on the previous B16 but with a larger bore of 88.9 cm and the introduction of the SOHC system), available in two variants that delivered 86 hp and 90 hp, respectively.

The engines were a 1,986 cc four-cylinder B20/2 an evolution of B20 with aluminum head
and a 2.700cc V6, developed in collaboration with Pegot e Rannol, named PRB 27.
