Performance tuner Time attack 1995

That just means there are no modifiers for slicks. It’s a way to let the slick guys have their advantage without the risk they will face in the next two sessions.

I see…I do think it would make more sense that everybody has the same compound for practise but yeah… it is what it is.

That would mean some of the guys would need their cars rebalanced for each compound, and also that means i’d have to switch back and forth between compounds for half the grid eventually losing track of who had who

So a car with 0 drivability would have a 100% chance of making an error? And is the severity (1 to 5%) determined separately?

Yes, exactly right. 0 drivability = never a perfect lap. Severity is not actually 1 to 5%, it’s 0 to 5%, but you get the idea.

Does the severity chance have anything to do with drivability or is it completely random?

completely random.

One more question before I commit to this, how many are averaging over 40MPH at Laguna? Again, not after secrets, just gauging if this is going to be a competition or a blistering defeat…

The only place I ever get less then 50mph in Laguna is at the start

Average, as in distance over time. I’m taking turn 2-3 at 50, which means very little.

EDIT: Don’t know if this will impact anyone else, but being so far behind, I open Laguna in Trackedit, and it turned out to be 7KM. An adjustment gave me approx 50% increase in average speed. Not sure if mine was bugged, but maybe @squidhead could check and confirm, being the host and all.

I’m doing it around 50mph too, but a little higher, something like 52mph.

I calculate that my average speed around Laguna is more than double 40 mph.

Mine does a little more then 90 mph.

Did you by any chance run a Laguna that has a flying lap and an intro lap? That would double the distance, meaning each lap is about 3.5 km, which is about right for the track.

I could’ve sworn I sent one in.

Old Puttzalongs weren’t known for their super-high performance. Factory fitted with 2.5lt of I4 meh (and 110hp to boot).

The Vermicelli Monster, on the other hand…(what? it’s made of rice) was modified by an apprentice panel beater who’s cousin knew someone who’s brother once raced a second-hand something-or-other.

it’s not a bow, it’s a horn. And no, that doesn’t mean it has a horn for you, because I’m not going there.
