(LED DRLs may seem too modern for 2003 - yes am aware of E39s angel lights but those circles were much thinner). However, the vehicle compensates with its positive features. It includes a satnav system for convenient navigation and boasts commendable drivability with smooth handling and responsive performance. Comfort is ensured for both the driver and passengers, and on-road performance is solid, instilling confidence in various road conditions. Well, Patrol, Pajero and to some extent Land Cruiser were my inspirations so seems like I caught on that vibe then…and yes, I was a bit afraid that going a bit too off-roady was going to hurt my chances. 
How can you tell if your rpms are too high at cruising speeds? I even drove it in Beam on the highway to test that out lol.
There are a few ways, but the easiest is in the Fuel Economy detailed stat. “Too high” is a matter of opinion and preference as much as any objective criteria, IRL as well as in-game.

I’m glad my entry has made it this far. I had started off with an evolution of a current SUV I had already made and built a new engine, but felt it looked too old. So I made a new truck for the new engine which I submitted - it’s stats where overall better anyhow.
And then gave the original a facelift to match my entry…

I’m glad that my oddball PT-Cruiser-inspired retro truck made it as far as it did. I’m sure if I’d sent it in with the original planned configuration, it would’ve been binned immediately, but, it’s definitely designed as a road car that just so happens to have a bit of load capacity, rather than an off-road vehicle. (The original version had a transverse V6 and FWD, with torsion beam rear end. Because it was meant to be a bit of a shitbox.)
And, yeah, I struggle at making the vehicle “match” front and rear, even at the best of times.

I do feel like giving some extra comment, and no offence to vouge, but I’m starting to have mixed feelings about the recent prevalence of CSR-disguised-as-QFC. There is going to be a point where the host does not feel like it or is unable while a “normal” QFC review would have allowed for that.
As the silly person who did #23, at times I simply didn’t enjoy writing the reviews. The imminent deadline and pretty large workload resulted in a fair amount of times where I was genuinely stressed, and didn’t want to do it, but I also didn’t want to make a fool of myself and quit it halfway.
Now 2 QFCs later and we still have this almost-CSR thing (granted, HappyHungryHippo’s hosting was much more QFC-like than mine and this one, barring the finals). In my humble opinion we should consider not going over the top for QFC anymore as it is set to result in future disappointment.
Not to say that it is bad; it is good for beginner-focused challenges, even. Long, meaty reviews give a lot of insight. However, with this QFC (and admittedly mine) it was a bit more on the exposition and story side rather than advice and feedback. Additionally I found this CSR’s premise easier than this QFC’s, with its rules and regulations.
In the future, it would perhaps be better to stay closer to the “tweet length” as per the original QFC’s hosting guidelines, and not to make QFC a contest of ‘which host can stress themselves out the most and not crumple for a week’.

First of all, thank you vouge for a great round.
Speaking of which, I was until very recently writing and coming up with my own round (basically finished it) but it’s come to my attention that the challenge I was preparing was too ambitious for the short nature of QFC. As I’m pretty busy with school and don’t wanna delay anything any further, I’ll have to pass down hosting to @S_U_C_C_U_L_E_N_T.
