QFC54: Muscle for the Masses

Once again, hosts are not going to change shit “because you want it”. Stop trying.

My two cents are that the prompt calls for a 4/5-door with some trappings of practicality. At the point where you’re mandating +2 jumpseats at the back, you might as well just let us make coupes.

It’s called a suggestion, the same thing others have been doing this whole time

That means they aren’t hard caps, but a recommended range - and those values are most likely not exact, but take rounding into account.

Suggestions usually come with good reasons for their enactment, and your reasons and rationale amount to little more than “I said so” and “it makes me happy”. Come up with a less flimsy excuse next time.

I’m unable to enter, but it seems counter intuitive to want a 4 or 5 door full size vehicle, then require a seating arrangement that is anathema to the style, era, and want for bodies that fundamentally do not work at all for the style and era for the sake of balancing. If someone wants to wildcard something that is unfitting, let them be punished instead of dragging down the intent of the challenge for wildcard choices.

it seems pointless and all in all a ridiculous suggestion to nerf a selection for something that doesn’t work at all with what you’re actually wanting?

1970 ARMOR KESTREL SPORTWAGON

In the US, the Streethawk is Armor’s entry into the muscle car fray. It is only offered in coupe form, and features all of Armor’s highest performance options.

However, the Streethawk is based on the mid-size Kestrel which shares almost all other parts, including exterior body panels. And since the Streethawk’s performance options are… well… options, technically you can order a Kestrel in any body-type with all the performance goodies the Streethawk has.

Enter the Kestrel Sportwagon. A family hauler that really hauls, the Sportwagon comes with Armor’s 353 CID V8 producing over 300 horsepower. All that power is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission spinning the rear wheels.

Outside, the Streethawk’s hood scoop and fender stripes are optional, and are the only visual cues that separate the Sportwagon from any other Kestrel wagon. Price as-tested is less than $20,000.

I have a car available but using open beta, is it possible that a partner can load it in stable and adjust the engineering?

They’re not backwards compatible unfortunately.

A trick that might just work is you copying (ONE BY ONE) morphs, fixtures and paint to your clipboard using advanced trim settings to send to your partner. Then letting them do engineering to your preferred spec

1970 Kastove Super Butter SS
A lot of muscle, A lot of weight.

The 1970 Kastove Super Butter was the child of Kastove’s SS Department. Using their flagship Luxury Kastove Super Butter as a base, they have created what they call a mix of horror and prestige.
The original 10L V8 has been outfitted with bigger carburetors and less restrictive exhaust manifolds, allowing this beast to achieve an astounding 462 hp and 562 ft-lbs of torque. Coupled to a high ratio 4 speed transmission and high grip sport tires allows this nearly 2 tons beast to reach 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds, and a top speed of 166 mph.
