If in 2024 there is a new lightweight sports car built using the design concept of “lightweight above all else”, what will it look like?
Nis4 is a new light sports car based on the KMA K310 chassis Sports/Supercar Design Thread - #477 by abg7
The weight of the Nis4 is strictly controlled within 800 kg. Through the extensive use of carbon fiber materials, lightweighting is maximized. Every design of the vehicle prioritizes weight reduction, and from the chassis to the interior, it reflects the ultimate pursuit of lightweight.
Nis4 is developed based on the modular KMA K310 platform, adopts a mid-engine layout, and the front and rear weight distribution is almost perfect.
The pushrod suspension design provides excellent steering feedback and precise handling performance.
Nis4 is equipped with the same LR16 engine as the ABTC racing car. In order to meet the road standards, only the turbine is replaced.
The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is less than 3.5 seconds, which is close to high-performance sports cars.
Nis4 inherits the core philosophy of the classic lightweight sports car (Lotus Elise), and redefines driving pleasure with the sense of control that integrates man and car.
Nis4 will undoubtedly become a new benchmark for modern lightweight sports cars, bringing a pure and passionate experience to people who love driving.

Engineered for those who see driving as an art of precision, the Tyco Technocracy is more than just a sports car, it’s a statement. Designed for young engineers and driving purists, it fuses cutting-edge technology with raw mechanical connection, delivering an experience that is as logical as it is thrilling.
With a 2.5L naturally aspirated inline-4 producing 235 hp at 6700 RPM and paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, every shift is deliberate. The mid-engine, all-wheel-drive layout ensures optimal control, while a 43/57 weight distribution and double wishbone suspension carve through corners with surgical precision.
Precision. Performance. Progress.
Glued aluminum monocoque for lightweight strength

Naturally aspirated high-compression engine for an instant response
Double wishbone suspension for razor-sharp handling
Compliant with Palmeiras’ Light Passenger Car framework, the Technocracy delivers the thrill of a true driver’s car while remaining practical and efficient. Agile enough for city streets, exhilarating on the open road, this is a machine built for those who demand more.
When Phénix introduced the Alcyone hot hatch in the early 2000s, it was incredibly well received. When it was discontinued in 2016, fans clamored for a new edition.
Well, Phénix likes to shakes things up and decided to revive the name… but on a pure 2-seaters sport car. It promises to drive incredibly well and be exciting, and this time, have no compromises.
With a 2.0L 4-cylinder boxer engine centrally mounted, it packs about 225hp and accelerated to 100kph in under 4.2 seconds, thanks to its performance-oriented 7-speed DCT. With a top speed of 300kph, it won’t fail to deliver excitement.
All of this performance is built upon a bonded extruded aluminium chassis for maximum lightness. A full active sport double-wishbone suspension handles this beast gracefully in any situation, with its 1.07g skipad results.
With a detachable targa top, this is the most fun car to drive daily or on the open highway. It also won’t break the bank with a 6 L/100km consumption and reasonable maintenance with its naturally aspirated engine.
Time to get back on the saddle with the Alcyone - you won’t be disappointed.
These cars are not a real product of any manufacturer, any likeness or other similarities to real brands is purely coincidence. Actual model may change in final submission.
Maybe at some point I will release a bunch of beam cars that I deem worthy, however the exporter being unpredictable at the moment means I’d probably send them to someone to fix them up first.
Maybe more of a tourer than a racer, this little convertible sports a 1.6l I4 with turbo, giving 228hp, adaptive suspension and modern infotainment system.
Among Paragon’s multitude of trim options, the Kabriolet Sport Komfort fo(ur) two with the t/c I4 1.6 fulfils the niche of a lightweight sports convertible, compromising between drivability, sportiness and affordability.
I originally wanted the deadline to be 12 hours from now, but I recently received a deadline extension request from @06DPA - so the new deadline is Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 12:00am (UTC +7).
