After checking this QFCβs ruleset multiple times, Iβm more inclined than ever to believe that this is what CSR166 wouldβve been if it took place a half-decade earlier.
1982 Hamfa 2400 GTT/4 (turbo)
In 1982 the 2400 was introduced as a more affordable alternative to the at this point luxury loaded and expensive 3200 GT/6. The 2400 GT/4 was available with a 2.4l inline four with or without turbo.
1982 KMA KX2 1.6
The predecessor to the KX4 (which deserves a reimagining in Al-Rilma now that its base body set has since been deprecated in favor of the '87 Bossa Nova and '86 Rosso), starting from $14k AMU.
'81-86 Tsubasa Cyclone T25 βKamodoβ
2 doors yay! 2 doors yay! 2 doors? yay?
Summary
Released in 1981, the Cyclone was a part of a revoloution at Tsubasa, with a 2.5l v6 being one of the highest trim levels, it packed a punch against its competitors in the sports-luxury market. Getting to 60 in under 7 seconds, it was one of the fastest cars that Tsubasa had made to that day, winning many races and generally looked upon highly by enthusiasts. It was offered with a multitude of options engine-wise, from a 1.6l i4 found in the Glide, to a 3l v6, it was a fast car for a frugal market, with its long sloping body lines, you werenβt able to miss them, in their distinct colours that set them apart from other cars on the road at the time.
Designed by me, engineered by @SheikhMansour
Tired of being overcharged for a sports car and still being treated to a basic interior? Look no further than the DeTomato Slayer, pictured in the PSX Trim (Likely means poverty spec but we wonβt tell you that). All steel on a space frame chassis with the 2L Alligator Series T-SEFI handling all the power to the rear wheels, the Slayer is a hoot. We recommend playing Hell Awaits on the included premium 8-track as you cruise out of the showroom in the crazy affordable SLAYER! (Ignore the fact Hell Awaits wonβt release for another 3 years)
Al-Rilma is now the public release. I didnβt see anything in the release notes to suggest there were changes that would affect the entries in this contest, but since I havenβt started scoring anyway, anyone who has already submitted is allowed a single resubmission if you believe that the Al-Rilma public release has somehow altered your entryβor even if you just want to be certain.
My first challenge submissionβ¦ Iβve been wanting to join one for so long but never found a good start.

THE ALL-NEW THIRD-GENERATION TIGERSHARK ARRIVES
Ocean & GTS Lead a Bold New Era for Poseidon Performance
Poseidon Automotive is proud to unveil the third generation of the legendary Tigershark, marking a major leap forward in aerodynamics, chassis development, and powertrain refinement for Australiaβs iconic performance coupe.
Building on decades of engineering from Manta Power Units (MPU), Trident Power Units (TPU) and the world-renowned Shark Motorsport Division, the 1982 Tigershark introduces two distinct faces of Poseidon performance:
TIGERSHARK OCEAN β THE NEW FACE OF PERFORMANCE
The pictured Tigershark Ocean showcases the most dramatic redesign in the modelβs history.
Aero Evolution

Key design traits include:
- Smoothed, ground-hugging integrated front bumper
- Wide intake profile for improved intercooler efficiency
- Slimline lighting for reduced drag
- More stable high-speed stance, tuned by Shark Motorsport

- Signature Shark Fin vents (exclusive to GTS, CS, and Shark Motorsport builds)
- Waratah Blue paint, as mandated for all GTS units since 1973
- A TPU-enhanced powertrain with racing-grade internals
The GTS continues to serve as the spiritual successor to Poseidonβs track legendsβcombining road usability with competition-bred aggression.
SHARK MOTORSPORT COMMENTS
Poseidonβs racing division provided this statement:
βThe Gen 3 Tigershark is the most aerodynamically stable production Poseidon yet.
The Ocean carries DNA from our competition work, while the GTS maintains the pure lineage of our motorsport heritage.β
β Buster Himen, Head of Shark Motorsport
MANTA POWER UNITS
MPU highlights the refined turbocharged 2.0L platform:
βThis engine represents a new generation of efficiency-over-capacity thinking.
More torque, quicker response, and superior economyβthis is the most advanced Tigershark base engine ever built.β
β Iva Biggin, MPU Chief Engineer
TRIDENT POWER UNITS
TPU hints at what lies beyond the Ocean:
βThe GTS program pushes our thermal and mechanical limits.
Expect outputs worthy of the badge.β

1982 Wells FIREHAWK SX
First seen at the 1978 Gasmean Auto Show, as the P2-Concept ALC01, the long awaited FIREHAWK is finally here. Visually, the FIREHAWK SX looks like a clone of the P2-Concept from '78, but thatβs where the similarities end. Gone is the supercharged fire breathing 536hp V-8. In its place for the SX trim, sits an eager 92hp Dohc inline 4. Double wishbone suspension remains upfront, although the rear was switched out for a solid axle coil setup. We imagine that was in the name of cost savings. No matter how you cut it, the FIREHAWK SX still aims to please even the most enthusiastic driver, all for the highly attainable price of just $13,600. Word has it that there is a v6 and even a v8 in the works.
