Is the infinite cash thing an intentional way to simulate a company that has prewar roots, or just a cheat code?

Not infinite… but it gives you like 100 billion or something, and the symbol is of infinity.

That is deliberately put in as a way to allow newer players to experiment without bankruptcy looming as they make mistakes 
best way to learn the campaign!
