I am at a loss for words. The last thing I was expecting was good news about his condition. Hopefully this marks a very significant step on his long road to full recovery!
Apparently, I just heard on the radio, he can feel being touched and will work on his recovery in a closed rehabilitation center, away from public.
what the actual fuck! I swear not two days ago I was discussing Schumacher’s coma with my (medical) colleagues, agreeing that 5 months in a coma usually means the best possible outcome is a permanent vegetative state. Especially given while he exhibited some signs of consciousness once the induction was withdrawn, they were progressing slowly, at least that was the report I read…
