The Rapidus S3 is a luxurious, sporty, drivers car. It will be the smaller of a range saloons (or sedan whatever ), hatchbacks and estate (wagons) cars.
It will be powered by either an economical 2 liter 4 cylinder pushing out 150 bhp @ 6100 RPM, or a more powerful 3 liter 6 cylinder making 335 bhp @ 6300 RPM. Of course all of that power is going to the rear wheels .
This is the Rapidus C3. It’s also known withing the company as the “baby coupe” because of it’s small size. Don’t let the looks fool you though… It packs some punch with it’s powerful engines and excelent handling.
The Rapidus C3 has two engines in the line up. Either a turbocharged 3 liter 6 cylinder producing 210 bhp @ 5800 RPM or a twin-turbo 3.5 liter V8 producing 370 bhp @ 6300 RPM while weighing less than 20 kg more than the smaller 3 liter engine.
The C3 has a nice mix of aggressive bulges and svelte flanks. That turbo six is hay more efficient than anything I have been able to make thus far. I particularly like the mock muffler (a grille?) between the exhaust outlets, I may need to borrow that one
Fantastic line up! I must admit I would love owning the C3 with a simple 3.0L I6 motor, sounds like a very fun and usable daily driver. Keep up the good work!
Thanks
Here’s a closeup of the exhaust. As you can see it’s just one of the grills.
I don’t mind if you borrow it . I probably saw it on another car once and sort of subconsciously borrowed it because I liked it
The next car in the Rapidus lineup is the bigger brother to the S3, the S5.
It features more interior space, especially in the rear with more head and legroom for passengers.
It also has much larger boot (or trunk) than the S3.
The Rapidus S5 has an exciting engine lineup with either an economical turbocharged 3 liter 6 cylinder producing 210 HP @ 5800 RPM or a powerful and “revvy” 4.2 liter twin-turbo V8 producing a whopping 440 HP @ 7200 RPM.
The last car in the current line-up (until we get some more body shapes to play with ) is the Rapidus S1.
It’s a small eco/city hatchback that still manages to put a smile on your face when driving on twisty country roads.
It comes with a choice of 2 engines, both tuned for economy, yet still relatively powerful considering the size of the car.
There is the turbocharged 1.4 liter 4 cylinder producing ~ 90 HP @ 6200 RPM and the turbocharged 1.6 liter 4 cylinder producing ~110 HP @ 6200 RPM.
And of course as all other Rapidus cars, all the power goes to the rear wheels. (Maybe there’s be AWD versions of some of the cars in the future… )
Yours are nice I’m a big fan of the S3 check out my luxury car company thread, viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2789
I really like the C3. You did an excellent job with it. Also, I really want that 3.0L straight 6 for some of my cars lol. 34% economy while still producing respectable performance figures. Well done.
