RetroniX by Bradford

(Short description)

As Bradford was in crippling financial state in late 2018, Bradford agreed to collaborate with the known brand Lagau in an agreement that Lagau will provide the Chassis and Drivetrain and Bradford will do the coachbuilding and any mechanical tuning.

Established in Jan. 2019, RetroniX aims to build fast sports car inspired by the history books of automotive greatness. Building with only mechanical engineering, no electronic non-sense.

(tl;dr, my shitty way of fusing the “lore” of Lagau and Bradford together)

The Battaglia looks OK and is a solid performer, but the Model A line… Oh dear. That is certainly not a rear end I’d be envious of. It looks droopy from behind, and the chrome-ringed rectangular taillights on the coupe are just unnecessary. Also, both body styles seem to have a trunk that’s too short - it disrupts the overall proportions severely. And the Retronix name… I was expecting retro-futuristic styling, but I haven’t found any of that in your cars, which defeats the purpose of such a name.

Things are brighter on the engineering front - the Model A has loads of power and ought to handle well, but the sedan really should use the same dual-clutch gearbox as the coupe for smoothness’ sake. And with that much power and torque going to the back wheels, an electric LSD would be recommended over a geared LSD, despite the extra cost. All things considered, all of your cars are strong performers, at least on paper, but the Model A’s styling leaves a lot to be desired. While you’re at it, why not make the coupe a full 4-seater rather than a 2+2? It certainly looks like it has enough room for a pair of adult-sized rear seats.

Thank you for your feedback. To me, I knew the Battaglia would get good press, knowing that I put some thought and time for it. Model A was a bit disappointing after awhile, and I mixed up the 2+2 term. It actually has four full seats and I thought 2+2 would mean that, I will edit that promptly. But rest assured there will be a facelift concept for the Model A soon.
