@squidhead what kind of markup was the Augusta running?
Iirc 100% over, could be more
100%?! Christ, the Seiryu is being undercut like fuck hereā¦
More research needs to be done
More like a contemporary Lotus Elise, with that performance.
I did build it to be cheap. There is no space tech there
Oops! I updated the post with optional extras including, yes, a manual
You know what we need⦠a shootout between the 13R, Seiryu S and the Augusta! @DeusExMackia
110%. Iāve just checked. Also it does not mean that KHT would get all the sales. It doesnāt have a civil version for one, and doesnāt have even an optional in car entertainment. The styling of the thing is not for everybody, and the fact that even if itās running a full production line, KHT canāt build those in really huge numbers.
Quite clearly then the only direct rival to the RJM 13R has to be the Baltazar Zepplin, which, being a 2011 car, is due a facelift soon.
If @ramthecowy, @grandea and @titleguy1 are interested, send me the cars and Iāll add it to the list of things Gavin needs to do ![]()
The MSRP is a little-well, itās in the ballpark of the real 370Z. Seems a little low for a car company that presumably canāt rely too much on economies of scale.
You see I thought so too, that as long as the car undercut and outperformed the 4C everything would be dandy, but the Automationsphere has other ideas
As the sports arm of a major car company that can spread the costs out? Definitely. As a small company that relies on them and them alone? Unless theyāre unrealistically good to the point of nabbing the entire mid-level sports market by temselves, aināt happening.
Having just shown the Albury CMS-20T elsewhere on these forums, I am now seriously considering comparing it against those three cars⦠I would like to see how well it stacks up against not just the 13R, but also an updated Zeppelin (if and when it arrives).
Review: 2017 RJM Eden Concept
āThe Koreans have made a Mac Pro with wheels and seats and painted it blueā
Hmmm, that an alternate Universe thing or a plain ole messup? ![]()
Pure Grand Tourer. Ridgewell-Jeong Motors 35SC.

Performance
RJM uncovered the 35SC Grand Tourer at the 2015 International Motor Show at Frankfurt. Ushering in a new generation of RJM grand touring automobiles, the 35SC has installed a 4th-generation twin-turbo 3.5l V8; in this application, it produces 546 HP at 8200 RPM. A smooth 6-Speed dual-clutch transmission is the only option on all 35SC models; mated to an electronic rear differential, 0 to 100 km/h is completed in under 4 seconds. The chassis is made completely from aluminium whilst the body shell is hand-crafted from carbon fiber. In turn, the weight is kept down to a relatively lithe 1561 kg (3,442 lbs). Magnetorheological dampers come standard on all 35SCās, along with RJMās Super-Control Grip Regulator (S-CGR) advanced traction control system; together, they provide grip levels comparable to those of other RJM mid-engine super cars. Carbon-ceramic brakes on all 4 wheels provide immense stopping power; the 35SC can stop from 100 km/h to a dead stop in a scant 28.7m (94.2 ft). The 35SC is the latest in a long line of RJM sports grand tourers, and it stands up to all of the heritage backing it.

Design and Ergonomics
The 35SC was designed from the ground up to be sleek, sexy, and aggressive. However, balance was important; the 35SC presents angular and rounded details together as one solid mass on the car. Dual side exhausts are a company favorite in terms of design details; by utilizing such a system, we were able to cut down weight by over 10 kg. The sound produced is tuned for musicality, with a sonorous note unique to RJM. A retractable rear spoiler is able to sense changes in speed and braking; at high speeds it retracts down for maximum stability, and in hard braking it moving up to act as an airbrake. On the inside, there is a 2+2 seating arrangement, and the interior is swathed in hand-stitched leather. An 11-speaker Burmester Sound System is standard along with an 7.5-inch infotainment screen and digital dashboard. Overall, the 35SC is car which has been crafted, not built, from the ground-up.
