##Saminda confirms to recall about 500,000 C3 equipped with the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine due to piston rings in worldwide

Currently Saminda is recalling about 15m cars worldwide due to ignition , but there is another problem .

Saminda is recalling about 500,000 newly redesigned C3 compact cars mostly in Canada and the United States due to piston ring not properly seated and may cause smoke to come out from exhaust

The recall affects 2015 C3 equipped with 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine.

Dealers will inspect the piston rings and fix them if necessary. Saminda urge dealers not to sell the affected cars until they are repaired

#Introducing the Amazing R , Never doubt our skills - 1 Trims

#Type-R ( 5 Door Hatchback )

Saminda Type-R aka Amazing R

Engine : KA Series , KA20F1

[quote]The Type-R is a hot hatch car based on the Saminda C3/C4 , designed and built by Japanese automaker Saminda which is born in Takahashi , Japan and later built in Swindon , UK , however the C3/C4 nameplate did not carry over.

Engine
In the heart of the Type-R is a direct-injected turbocharged 2.0-liter i-VIC PROAIR petrol engine, which delivers power, torque and performance figures unmatched in the front-wheel drive hot hatch segment. Peak power output is 310 PS at 7,400 rpm, and peak torque is 410 Nm at 3,700 rpm while red-lining at 7,600 rpm , the 0-to-62 mph sprint takes just 5.8 seconds and top speed, where permitted, is a class-leading 166 mph. Despite this, the Type R achieves low CO2 emissions of just 172 g/km, high speed fuel consumption and compliance with Euro 6 emissions regulations.

Styling
The styling changes uniquely applied give the car an aggressive, purposeful stance, yet almost all have a functional purpose, Although the front grill is large but it serve air to the intercooler and are specifically shaped to minimise aerodynamic losses.

Suspension
When the Type-R packed more then 300bhp while retaining a front-wheel drive layout, the question on everyone’s lips was just how it’d cope with the 2.0-liter turbocharger engine’s without torque steering into a hedge. It turned out Saminda was using two methods to combat understeer and torque steer: a conventional limited-slip differential and a system it called ‘‘Strut-Counter’’

Strut-Counter is a variation of the MacPherson strut front suspension design. This design separates the suspension and steering functions, and brings the steering axis closer to the wheel’s centre line.

Saminda Motor Co. said yesterday that that its brand image in Japan had been tarnished by a series of recalls over quality issues related to its C1 model and this was weighing on domestic sales.

Since late 2013, Saminda has conducted numerous recalls of its C1 cars, a subcompact model with ample cargo space which was once the automaker’s best-selling domestic model, mainly to fix issues related to the vehicle’s programming and its engine.

“We had a period of ongoing recalls of the C1 in the past two years or so which had a negative impact on the brand’s image,” Saminda’s chief operating officer for Japan operations Genyo Kiminishima said.

He said domestic sales of the model, which is available in other markets around the world, had slumped since the recall, while the ongoing withdrawal of millions of vehicles over potentially faulty of ignition and recently C3 engine problems had “dealt another blow” to the company.

Overall, Saminda’s annual domestic vehicle sales fell 15.2 percent in the year ended of 2014

Domestic sales comprised about 16 percent of the automaker’s global sales last year.

After unprecedented quality issues at Saminda, the automaker plans to shift the strategy and reorganize its operations so it can develop better products.

Recalls related to millions of faulty ignition and quality issues with the C1 small cars made Saminda change its president one year ago, naming Yuko Nagoya to replace Shibuya Kuge. And now, the new head is facing similar challenges, because the Japanese automaker found out some engine issues on its 2015 C3 cars only months after starting sales. Nagoya is determined to make some changes to revamp the company and to win back customers trust. After announcing some management shifts at the top , Nagoya is determined. Therefore, vehicle development has to slow down in order to ensure the quality of the products. Also, “we began to see more organizational issues, such as unclear responsibilities of each area and insufficient level of delegation,” he said. “This could seriously harm the driving force engine behind Saminda’s creativity.”

As part of the new structural changes, Saminda will add some new positions, including new roles in charge of the area of product development, a new position for quality control for all Saminda and Auxuras models and new positions in charge of supervising the design process, on a global basis. Furthermore, there will be new responsibilities in other areas, such as production, purchasing, quality, service and sales.

Separately, Saminda detailed its latest recall, for the 2015 C3, after just management and organizational changes. The automaker is calling back nearly 500,000 models with 1.5-liter turbocharged engines after learning of related to poorly assembled engine pistons.

If you think it looks familiar, it’s because it’s basically a Saminda Antana with a revised exterior. Now don’t be fooled , this isn’t the Saminda Antana facelift. Saminda has two JV partnerships in China , Wuhan-Saminda and Guangzhou-Saminda. Since Wuhan Saminda has the rights to sell the original Saminda Antana in China, Saminda developed the Vaser so that Guangzhou would have a B-segment sedan to sell as well , another note is that the Vaser will be a more ‘‘Upscale’’ B-segment Sedan compared to Antana , as it has a more powerful powertrain. #Saminda axed CZ6 to focus on fuel efficiency , ‘‘Don’t expect anymore sport car , maybe for now said CEO of American Saminda , Teiko Sakahashi’’

The CZ6 is dead, Saminda CZ6 (Auxuras CZ6 in the states) is about to take the last gulps of air into its turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, distributing its 550 horsepower among all four wheels and hurtling off into the distance in one final cloud of dust.

“The discontinuation of CZ6 was a difficult but necessary decision by Saminda Motor Co,” said Michael Hyson, Manager for Saminda Motor Sales of America . “it has been pretty clear that our product emphasis points to fuel efficiency and economy , that’s the direction in which we’re headed. Saminda Motor Co has declared that by 2028, 30 per cent of our global production will be electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles including Saminda luxury division , Auxuras.”

Saminda said axing the CZ6 is not because of the recent recalls , that means Saminda now only offers the Type-R as their flagship performance car.

The facelifted CZ6 , which teased earlier this year will be cancelled , The Saminda/Auxuras CZ6 is one of the most legendary nameplates in recent automotive history

#Thanks for the fun CZ6, farewell.
