Saminda Motor Co - The all-new CR200, 'Simplicity Design Philosophy"

Wait what , i could just get a 2015 Saminda C5 for that price , the C3 is getting more and more expensive each day and it’s ridiculous

If I was buyer, the SpectaLUX would probably rise a Red flag.Isn’t the base model supposed to come with all the safety tech I need?

I suppose that’s so the buyers of their most expensive cars survive to buy another. After all, if your ignition cuts out and your car stalls in the middle of the highway, and you get t-boned by a truck and die, well, you really can’t buy another Saminda.

@Yamahafazer600 The C3 has grown more mature and is getting better and better.

@Elenir1 The car comes standard with stuff like 6 airbags and backup camera , the SpectaLUX trim will include stuff like blind spot monitoring , lane depature warning , lane keeping assist , adaptive cruise control , emergency collision braking . I will talk more about this safety purpose soon , while SpectaL trim already have some of this technology.

@Madrias Remember our We are working on it campaign , we do everything we need to do to ensure our customer safety , that’s why Saminda cars will be better in terms of safety and reliability , look at our new C3 specs and you will know.

Looks like we might need to either go downsized turbos has Saminda has done with the C3 and/or also adopt a new transmission…maybe CVT is the way forward?

Beat you that bud

But I’m more of an AMUSE type shop. Are you going to be like an OEM sports parts manufacturer?

it’s both and neither at the same time…

it’s like a closely related subsidiary company that focuses on performance. so maybe like the tune up shops, BRABUS, SPOON, MINE’S, except it’s just owned by a car company.

#Saminda Type-R Prototype 1 Revealed in 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

Saminda make a suprise in Geneva Motor Show with the Type-R Prototype , There is still a pending to launch the latest Type-R in the US. On the bright side of things, the wait for the Type-R won’t be a long one since the car is confirmed to bear the 2017 MY.

Under the hood, the Type R is likely to carry over the 2.0-liter turbocharged i-VIC four-cylinder unit from the current Type R, which produces 310 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The current car is only equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels only.

Like the current Type R, the new model will be manufactured at Saminda UK Manufacturing plant in Swindon and exported to markets where demand exists.

Damn. 310hp to the front wheels. Make sure you’ve got a seriously good differential for that!

Problem is people don’t know that putting so much horsepower on to the front wheel require many engineering process.

Good job on Saminda , but more importantly fix your recalls

Your latest car seems to be mechanically inspired by the new Civic Type-R concept shown at the recent Paris Auto Show (>300 bhp powering just the front wheels courtesy of the now-ubiquitus 2-litre turbo straight-four). Given that it is possible to make such a configuration work in real life, I bet that assuming you have fixed every single problem that caused a recall, it will be an incredible drive!

Oh yeah only now that you mention it does remind me of a Civic Type R. You know if I am completely oblivious to the giant intentional resemblance of the entire company, it’s previous lineup and design choices, I too would be marveled and mindblowned at the 25th time you mentioned that Saminda is kinda like Honda.

Seems interesting that Type R! Good job Saminda!
