I remember when I used to play Real Racing I spent more than a third of my entire game time perfecting my lines through MP. The more I think about that track the more I fall in love with it.

Likewise, as soon as I realized that the track would be included in Gran Turismo 6 (a copy of which I bought not long after its release), I decided to master “The Mountain” (as fans call it) as soon as possible in a wide variety of cars - mostly production models since the only V8 Supercar in that game is the 2000 Tickford (later FPR, now PRA) AU Falcon XR8 driven by Glenn Seton and Neil Crompton (which makes it unrepresentative of the current Gen2 V8 Supercars).

And just a few months later, I repeated the same process in GRID: Autosport, which also includes the track, although in that game, two actual Gen2 V8 Supercars (Commodore VF and Falcon FG) were included, which made me even more motivated to learn how to master Mount Panorama.

Edit: I agree with Ram - no matter what game Mount Panorama appeared in, it is most fun to race on with regular production cars, where driver skill is the most important factor.

I find Mount Panorama much more fun in low downforce production cars where lap times are completely dependent on how you drive.

I can’t wrap my head around not only firmly sticking to a company theme with so many cars, but also managing to make each and every one look good and suit its intended role quite well. The roleplaying is a nice touch as well.

Ehh , i might buy the C3 Coupe Sport but why isn’t it available in Australia?

I’m a bit concerned about the MacPherson fronts. That’ll limit maximum cornering and dynamic feel.

Consider that the new Civic has fully independent suspension that eliminates understeer and has the same output figures, and weighs less. And seats 5 with a lot of leg room. One must ask, is this too little?

Is fully independent suspension still a big deal? Because to me the setup is still far more important than the basic geometry.

But the tenth gen doesn’t, nor will its type R variant.

@Awildgermanappears this is true to an extent, since the current Type R and Focus RS overcome the natural limitation with the Macphersons by introducing independent motion into it anyway. That’s not something this game allows AFAIK.

My beef with torsion beam etc is a bit more personal: one of my rear wheels is a bit off, and I can’t fix it without removing the beam, which pisses me off.

I did not know MacPherson struts were not independent.

That’s what I get for not putting 2 and 2 together. But then, what exactly where you addressing earlier, since it clearly wasn’t my concern about using Macphersons up front?

With these prices the new C3 gets into territory of Erin Tauga and Zavir Luna - which are a bit more premium :stuck_out_tongue: If for 28k you can have C3 SpectaL or Tauga Vox or Luna Lusso (this one with similar engine for 29k) then I’d say the choice is pretty easy, and it’s not Saminda. Standard brand FWD vs premium brand RWD…

how many of you guys even ever got in a sport kei car?

and if i lay on the floor with my hand stretched out beside the car, i would be about 80% the length of the car. that thing was only a bit over 2.5m iirc

i’m about 175cm tall, and my head hit the soft top on the daihatsu copen… (that’s about 5.74" for you, according to google.)

also, alternatively, you could get an SR3 :slight_smile: it’s much better, and not that much more expensive :stuck_out_tongue:
