I don’t know about the others, but for me it’s not only about photoshop skills. Car design, idea for the photoshops (or gifs - genius), the writing, story, details and all this stuff - it’s all at a very high level in your case.

Results are here

now lets pick the top 3 and judge their looks

one85db

the color is brown and ugly
rear end has no tail lights which makes it, so there’s a issue with being street legal
the front end is plain and simple

good thing we can say
ahs steel chassis - stiffer chassis
partial alu body panels - less rust
its AWD - unlimited traction !!!
lsd diff
3.8 liter v8 engine. the sound is killer

bad stuff
zero driver aids - not even power steering
engine is undercooled
not even a basic undertray - which hurts economy
its has basic seats, 5 seats but not very good seats
the last bad thing
its a hatchback- i can very little space in the boot

##vmo

oh god another hatchback. anyway what can we say about it. this car is understatement. its a GTI car but a RWD one. it has enough power,a wolf in sheep’s clothing

besides simple looks and understatement what does it offer?
good stuff:
corrosion resistant steel chassis and panels - less rust less problems
double wishbone suspension - means good handling
manual 6 speed with lsd diff
good fuel economy

bad stuff:
boot space is small and tight due to the suspension and rwd setup
not even a basic undertray
its a hatchback
is needs 95 octane fuel but good about it is only needs 7 liter of it

##MarcoAlla

here we have a newcomer who did good at the first try, except export i had to teach him how to export a car
the looks are very good i like the black indicators.
the color is gray and dull

the engine is a 2.5 liter inline 6, its very smooth. it makes 210 horsepower and 250nm torque mid range

what can we say about this car
good stuff:
it uses a galvanized steel chassis to protect it from rust
double wishbone suspension front and rear - means good handling
the body panels are made from partial alu - means less weight less rust
engine internals are ready to be turbocharged - forged pistons and i beam steel conrods
loud engine - only using one loud muffler its the perfect thing to wake up neighbors
its a proper coupe
has boot space - can fit dead people

bad thing:
no vvt
95 octane fuel required
no lsd diff
brakes slightly fade -0.1 %
no undertray
the colour could have been better

Basically, I focused too much on economy, and forgot about everything else. Still, making a car that would fit the design brief and stay under budget for this challenge was a worthwhile endeavor for me. On current evidence, though, @vmo is most likely to be the winner… At least I used the 2-door coupe version of the body he used, instead of the 3-door hatchback.

Ohh my, the RAY made an average! Perfect!

Though, might you still make a bonus on the car you found to be the best looking of them all?

Actually

Where’s the price?

double post sorry

awards for those who didn’t win

Worst fuel economy goes to @jonthefuzz

inline 6 with a rich air fuel ration

the car is happy tho, best sportiness and least amount of seats

best advertisement goes to rk38

too bad the car is FWD otherwise its very nice. popup headlights look so cool on it, also why are the exhaust pipes so small and far away from each other.

best driveability goes to sillyduck

the car looks so happy. also has 49.8/50.2 weight distribution

best colour goes to highoctanelove

i think this company has a fetish for this colour
at some point in life this car will have a drift tax

tried too hard award goes to abg

2 liter turbocharged inline 6 that makes 155 HP
the turbos are there to improve fuel economy not power

award for the only rear engined car tr8r

while test driving the car, some rocks smashed the fog lights

award for the the unusual design 4lge

is it a french design?

award for “idk what to say about it” goes to corvette

is it a fiat ?
it got the 4th place on the list, congrats

award for “not that bad” goes to gridghost

if it didn’t had competitors it would be awesome

You are missing tail lights and fixtures from my car, it has tail lights and is not under-cooled.

Ahah I have never seen the export button before!

yeah i think this car as a good platform for furter performance tuning, you can install low CR pistons and then turbocharge, that’s why there no VVL, for easier maintenance and tuning, also for decrease cost. I tried to install LSD but the price were barely under the maximum budget… however the car has good traction and cornering performance, but if you want drift this thing you definitly need an LSD.
I’m glad you like the car exterior!

if you have put bit thinner wheels it would have used less fuel. front 175 rear 195. try it out, it helps fuel economy

Yeah improve fuel economy, but 175/195 size tires aren’t very sporty on a 5.45kg/hp coupè, on real world the car tend to understeer.

anyway congrats on winning SFC

I can never get good mpg, 27 is my best.

try using a leaner air fuel ratio

That was with the leanest air fuel ratio

i doubt it
@jonthefuzz if you used a super lean air fuel ratio you could still have 200 hp and alot better fuel economy

My ratio is 15.0:1 I think.
