When you see a Malaise v8 and think: “and why didn’t they use mechanical fuel injection?”
'Cause it was freaking expensive and unreliable! Those old Hilborn units were awesome though. Pretty clever how they ran the pump off the crank so it would build more pressure with RPM to feed the engine! =)
