Race car rule deliberation is ending soon! If there are no complaints, I will close the deliberation period and finalize the rules. Remember that voting in the poll in the main post is required for participation. If you submitted a production car and DON’T vote in the poll, I will assume that you will only be entering your production car.

Argh, I was stupid and didn’t see that the update was in the first post.
Am I correct to assume that all entries must be submitted with the race interior, advanced 80s safety, and basic AM radio as specified for determining the budget? This seems like a dumb question, but I wanted to confirm.
I would recommend putting the poll in a new post down here, tbh (or at least a an alternative copy of it). A lot of people probably wouldn’t notice a change to the original post 80 messages in.

Correct. I’ll be duping each of the production cars, doing the rule modifications, then sending out the budgets here as a double check (in case the game does something screwy).
The last thing, I updated the rules post to make it so that only ONE full race seat is allowed to make the budgeting flow smoother on my end.
I did consider that, but I figured it would be easier to find if it stayed in the main post. A clone that mirrors the main post’s result (or vice-versa) would be neat, so I’ll see if I can make that work.

Race car rule deliberation will end in 11 hours (~12 AM, March 15th, EST). I have made the following changes:
- Changed race seat requirement to where ONLY ONE race seat is needed.
- Added posting a picture of your race car(s) a submission requirement for the race portion. No blurb or backstory is necessary this time.
I will do the race mods myself to each of the cars and will post the budgets here as a double check in case the game acts up. At around that same time, I will send out the second cars for those who asked for them in DMs.
There was some confusion expressed around the racing participation poll. The poll and the details are in the main post, but I will try to see if I can make a mirror in the thread for ease of access.

Attention All
Looking over my rules again, I have made a small typo. In the quality slider section, I said that Engine Top End cannot change from the base car. However, I meant to say that Engine Bottom End cannot change. The logic behind it is that cam replacements are plausible, but not full-on block replacements/overhauls. I also changed “Suspension” to “Chassis” in the rules since I didn’t check what the game called it.
I will update the rules in the main post to reflect these changes. Apologies for the mis-types.
In unrelated news, I may send a post out containing basic data of the production cars soon, so stay tuned.
