Survival of the fittest [FINISHED]

My V12 burns 18l/100km @ 120 kph. It will reach the destination with almost nothing left in the tank.
If my calculations are correct and no glitches happen in transition, my car will also run on fumes
Looks like we will be pushing our cars across the finish

same story here
my car need 40L of fuel. and my car weight is 800.4Kg
which means i have a 40.02L fuel tank. any delay whatsoever, i will be running mixed fuel. 99.5% fuel, 0.5% human powered fuel.

well, at least my car is light when i push :stuck_out_tongue:

The results of Stage 0 are in
Check the second post of the thread to see them.
I honestly am surprised at the amount of DNF in a stage that’s a cruise to the destination on a highway.

Well I had a good run, now if you’ll excuse me I have long trek to the petrol station

I suppose, as the man with the most fuel in the tank, I should share my secrets…

The Envy Turbo Coupe has a 5 liter, twin turbo V8 with a cast iron block and heads, and mechanical fuel injection.

And I may have done all my own math based on liters-to-gallons conversions for MPG, because I’m American.

well that was fast.

loved the glorious “remaining in tank comments” LOL

and the extra comments you have to add to my car’s pic every time :stuck_out_tongue:

this means only 1 car will be eliminated at stage 1

Damn. I’m surprised you pulled this off with a big displacement turbo. I dismissed the idea without event trying for fuel economy reasons. That engine should be a torque monster.

I deliberately opted for a heavy body it order to get a bigger fuel tank. About 410HP are provided by a 6000cc V12.

Damn. Note to Erin engineers: “guessing” whether it’ll make 400km at 120kph based on calculations that came to the conclusion “probably?” isn’t sufficient.

Nailed it

Big thumbs up for fast results in a great form!

noooo, soooo cloooooose

oh well, not like the communitasia was built for economy anyways

I wonder if posting the results slowly, one by one, as I get them calculated would be more nerve racking for you people.

That would be just mean :smiling_imp:

I must confess that even scrolling and reading blurbs to see if I made it was a bit nerve racking

^what he said.

but that would nudge the masochist inside me up. so GO FOR IT!

Meeeh, I’d rather keep that for the battles. Beisdes, there’s like 3 cars left to calculate, with a few of you REAAAAAAAALLY gambling with your strategy choices.

God dammit…

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand posted.

Made me laugh
Best base time yeah (BRC learning lessons about tuning MR)! Not so happy about damage penalty…

almost made it. what could i have expected from a v12 modor (motor, but with american accent) with a big displacement

I obviously should have created a more economical car… :frowning:

Rawr! Twin Turbo V8 fury! Who’s envious of the Envy?
