SwanSong Engineering Vehicle Division - Reduce Weight and Refine

SwanSong Engineering Vehicle Division is an engineering and tuning firm firm dedicated to driving pleasure and performance. Their main goal is to reduce weight, which improves efficiency and handling response, rather than other manufacturers which mindlessly pile on power and then use wider tyres to compensate. This makes any SSE tuned car feel more alive and responsive than most other brands, while being affordable and easy to run.

They also host a one make time trial racing series with their vehicles. The SSE Tracker Time Trial series started in 1987, with membership being an optional extra when you bought the car, making it quite affordable. Then, in 1995, the SSE Stanza Time Trial series came along, for people that needed a car they could use in everyday life easily.

A promotional picture of the SSE Tracker Time Trial series in the UK, taken at SSE’s factory. Customer cars were only available in white from the factory, and the red and blue ones were repainted shortly after the photo was taken.

SSE will take a look at all cars they get sent to modify, and will consider any limitations or restraints the manufacturer presents, but are allowed to turn down any vehicle they feel is too compromised at their core.

SSE can manufacture extremely low production engines or one off vehicles themselves, but the manufacturer will have to produce any engines that they want in a mass produced vehicle, and any vehicle that isn’t a one off special.

This thread will contain any SSE models or special editions.

Looking at that screenshot, it seems that SSE is very fond of the late-model Keika Katana. I wonder what they will do to the later Twist?

Well the later Twist was never a lore car, just some minmax garbage I did in a CSR ages ago. It wasn’t a real Keika, much like any other CSR car I built.

And yeah, since I got rid of Keika, I’m repurposing the lore cars I had prepared. These cars are not related to Keika in any way, I just don’t want to design new cars. Keika is now owned by @Elizipeazie, who is in the process of making cars for a reboot of Keika.

Sorry for any confusion from my poor lore and laziness.

Gonna put my two cents here:

Yeah i “bought” Keika cuz i was one of the few people who genuinly like the FlecTape part of Keika’s design.
but since Keika is “bought” in 1979 lore-wise, having actual lore Keikas built will probably not happen in a long time because i am doing Anhultz/ Keika lore chronologically for simplicity.

TLDR: There are a few post-buyout Keikas on my hard drive, none of which are actual lore Keikas
