The FWD Sedan Endurance Series. entries closed!

I’m actually heading to bed now, so I’ll allow a slight extension till the morning. Tech review will begin tomorrow, assuming everything checks out I’ll have the track listings up shortly after, good luck everyone.

Hooray! Time to lay down some sweet elevens!

The track list I’m concocting should favor a well sorted car over a balls out dyno queen, but who knows, anything can happen in racing.[/quote]

Oh. Well, I’m boned. It was nice knowing you all haha.

Holy crap, I apparently didn’t notice that my entries list got up to 19. I’m glad you all liked the idea, though I might have to rethink the points system given the number of entries. As of now entries are closed and I am starting my inspections.

Cant wait!! Very excited to see what happens  I still think I am going to be smooshed like a bug by Strop :stuck_out_tongue:

Note to self… next contest ask for the car’s name to include the username, really wasn’t expecting this turn out but it’s going to be fun. Finding a few errors here and there, track list might be posted a bit later then expected.

Okay so yeah, I might not be posting that track list today…
1 invalid fuel
2 invalid year (1 fixed)
2 missing mesh folders (1 fixed)
2 unexplained crashs to desktops
1 over production unit (fixed)
1 invalid reliability (fixed)

Ouch :frowning:

Should i have send more that only the car file? Or is my entry valid now? (sorry for bad english, not my main language)

Nope you’re all set bauto, I didn’t specify 1 entry, that was (one of) my mistake(s) but I only intended to have a single car per person.

A few facts while we wait.

The n/a turbo split is roughly 45%-55%
fastest 0-60 time 4 seconds
slowest 0-60 time 5 seconds
highest top speed 328kph
lowest top speed 202kph
best mpg(us) 43mpg
worst mpg(us) 9mpg
shortest stop from 100kph 27.3m
longest stop from 100kph 30.3
lightest car 615kg
heavest car 972kg

You need to reverse the MPG stats, in the US the larger number is the better, not the lower as in the L/100km system  We measure the distance traveled per gallon in the US so you want high numbers to indicate many many miles have passed per gallon of liquid fun. The L/100km system measures the quantity of fun burned per 100km driven so in this case lower numbers are best if you dont want to have any fun. :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: OP fixed the post, will not change mine but to add this notice so we dont confuse anyone else.

My goodness. My car appears to be pretty much smack bang in the middle for everything.

Except fuel economy of course. I think the Telstar is another oil-refinery special :stuck_out_tongue:

What was your MPG Strop? Was yours the 9MPG one?

Best acceleration, yay!!

It’s also fairly light (sub-700kg) and stop fairly well.

I have high hopes for this competition.

Hopefully I won’t get wrecked by the track selection.

I know that it means nothing, but I’m the lightest
615kg - Turbo version.

There is also N/A version prepared for this challenge and it weights 577kg, but cannot use both.

Slowest 0-60 time and very nearly the worst fuel economy.

Turbo I4! Woot!

I stand by my decision.

Can we by chance get a lowers hp and highest hp rating?

Sorry guys, there’s a technical issue with my .lua not loading for niall. I’ll try fixing in when I get home in an hour.

My choice of body was mildly suboptimal, given the final weight being well over 200kg more than the lightest entry… Power to weight ratio also suffers but I can tell you now that it’s still well over 600hp:ton  too bad it’s almost impossible to drive haha.

You seem to have missed my entry at 1004.5kg.

…what? It’s a road car, stop glaring at the rear seats.

oops sorry, I will adjust that when I get home tonight.

Once again not near my computer, but I believe I recall the horse power range being from the mid 200’s to the mid 500’s.

mid 500’s! I am a little concerned that low 300’s isn’t going to do very well :frowning:
