The 2002 MAG Valera 55s
The velocity of comfort. The engineers at MAG intended this beaut to be a smooth, yet nimble 2-door cruiser, complete with a powerful Supercharged V8, premium interior, and Austrian refinement.
While it’s usually a comfort vehicle, it can get rowdy if you wanted to, given it’s RWD driving dynamics, Viscous LSD, and MAG’s Active Sport Suspension system.
…And all for $39,600

1977 Soni Piranha Coupe
A nice classic sportscar packed with the newest electronics for the time, all wheel disc brakes and independent suspension. A nice rev happy 20V five cylinder gives this 940kg coupe body a 0-100km/h time of 6.4 seconds and a top speed of 227km/h. Despite this, the car only cost $16500 new, though unfortunately all the fancy electronics breaking made these a somewhat rare find these days. The 2-seater coupe body is more sought after by enthusiasts due to lower weight and more rigidity compared to the 4-seat fastback.
History and pics
This car is a refreshed version of a campaign car from my first high score attempt (ended with about 24M I think), remade it completely in sandbox for a bit more design freedom. This model also had a hatchback variant which I’ve decided to replace with the fastback so I could pull the firewall and A pillar back further, getting a more appealing side profile. This model ended up carrying most of the campaign. The name was entirely given by the game.
2 Weeks Remain
So far, I see many entries, hopefully more are to come
Behold, the magnitude of my genius!
“What the hell am I looking at?”
“The latest in the Zephyr line, the ACZ LUB!”
“Who asked for a high performance van?”
“Marketing won’t tell me the target demographic.”
“That’s because it doesn’t exist.”
“Shut up! This van has over 400 HP and will rock your socks off with it’s performance!”
“Yeah, sure thing.”
“Shut up! How does a sub 3.5s 0-60 sound?”
“In a van? Who needs that?”
“Important people with lots of money so they can buy ten of them. Marketing tells me that will guarantee a “return on investment”, whatever that means. It has the same engine as the Concur Zephyr and Val-R Zephyr, two proven performance vehicles with high praise from magazines.”
“And we both know how well those two are selling, rotting away on dealer lots.”
“A vehicle like this requires sophisticated and refined taste. Someone out there will love this thing, I guarantee it.”
“Yeah, sure. I’ll leave you to your delusions of righteousness.”
ACZ. Never be boring.
As a support vehicle for other street racers, your choice of a van actually makes lots of sense!
As I’m currently working on an entry with these in mind, does hiding the chassis (to make it easier to develop a detailed 3d-fixture interior) count as “a reasonable amount”? Especially since as far as I know, those include minor exterior adjustments to things like ride height.
Yeah, that’s good for usage, no issue with that ![]()

My philosophy with the Manta was “go big or go home”; to that end, I figured out that I would’ve been better off using the entirety of my initial $50k budget to build something that goes all-out in terms of overall performance, without compromising too much in some aspects.
