2005 Delta Clearview Concept

Have you ever wondered what would happen if a Chrysler Phaeton crashed into a copy of Windows Vista Home Edition and slid into a 1.9TDi? No? Well, that’s unfortunate, but I hope you enjoy my chud son Gerald anyways.

Boring Lore Stuff

The Delta Clearview was a concept car produced by Delta Automotive, a British Columbia based heavy vehicle and passenger car manufacturer. It was intended to be the basis for an eco-friendly throwback roadster made for both the Japanese and Canadian markets, while also building upon the earlier and larger Mikado concept. It was one of five concepts to be built in the “View Series”, a set of 5 cars identical in every way but colour. Unfortunately, in 2008, the global financial crisis killed the plans for production as the cost to do so was prohibitive. Delta declared bankruptcy in 2009 and merged with longtime partner Montiago to stay afloat.

I have something to submit, but I need Level one in order to DM it to @pen15 . Is he active on Discord or anything? I could send it there.

Edit: nvm, I got the perm this evening. Submitted! I might make a showcase post here later

Usually only a token amount of skimming here is needed to reach that “level;” this conversation, plus maybe a couple minutes of looking around, will get you DM permissions easily.

Libra wants to show you a peak into the future.

Imagine this: It’s 2025. The world is peaceful, the environment is spotless, and technology is booming. You are a delivery driver tasked with shipping an order to a client a few towns over. You get into your trusty Capsula van, and begin to use the touchscreen radio to get directions.

You get it set, and you’re off! Or you would be, if you remembered to top the tank off last time. No big deal, just head to the biofuel station around the corner and fill the tank with some cleanly sourced Biodiesel.

Add images

Your actual trip goes off without a hitch. The LTD engine propelling your noble steed is capable of hitting 40mpg with the A/C on and a load in the back. Your wallet definitely loves this van, that’s for sure. When you arrive, you walk head towards the front door of the client’s storefront. You can’t help but take one last glance at your lovely van before kocking on the door…

LMJ DESIGN TAKES ON THE LUXURY CAR OF THE FUTURE

Meet the Cosmovo. At LMJ Design, we believe that even in something as traditional and conservative as the luxury class, the days of the classic 3-box sedan are counted.

What is the Cosmovo? Is it an MPV? Is it a hatchback? Is it a wagon? No, it is a new way of thinking.

Pillarless design and rear hinged rear doors makes for easy entry and exit. Special “see through” A-pillars eliminates blind spots without sacrificing strength (cough, we never heard about the Volvo SCC, cough). While the upper part of the tailgate opens like normal, the lower part can either fold down, or be pulled out with the floor for easier loading of heavy goods. Solar panels on the roof recharges the hybrid batteries even when the car is not plugged in.

Stop staring at the steering wheel, we know nothing about weird Ford concept cars from the 60s. Anyway, the interior is finished in materials that nicely complements the outside, like perforated leather, wool, bamboo and transparent plastics. Forget traditional controls, more or less the whole car can be controlled from the centre screen.

The seats are designed with a weave material in the middle, strong, comfortable and both warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Isn’t this a nice place to sit down and relax on? Notice the floating bamboo centre console and the cup holders.

THE COSMOVO. BY LMJ DESIGN. A GLIMPSE INTO THE FUTURE ALREADY TODAY.

My attempt at Frutiger Aero. The 2006 Arc Party Concept. Meant to encapsulate the atmosphere of a good day out with the small low profile body of a sports car, with 4 seats that can fit 4 adults, the front of which can rotate 360 degrees, and the rear can fold into the floor so the roof, made of a transluscent soft plastic, can close.

Summary

High in styling and High in performance.

This is Kaminari!

Katami new concept for what performance cars should be like for the new decade. With bold new looks and styling it’s all part of the experimental millennium division in Katami to revitalize the brand. The Kaminari is positioned as a halo car but not just running on regular petrol but instead being able to run on other fuels such as LPG to aid in the environment.

Internals wise, you get a 5 liter V10 with variable valve lift and variable valve control producing 496 horsepower and being able to rev to 9000rpm going through a 7 speed dual clutch automatic with a 0-60km/h of 3.3 seconds and a electronically limited speed of 300km/h. They say the reason why there’s an electronic tachometer instead of it being analogue is due to not being accurate enough to track from 0-9000rpm

Sounds crazy right? But in a strive to also be fuel efficient while delivering performance to match Katami also added a hybrid system alongside the on demand all wheel drive system.
It’s all managed through an AI called M.I.K.U. (Millennium Intelligence Kaminari Unit). M.I.K.U. Can detect through your driving style and change how the car feels dynamically. If you are more of a reserved driver that wants to cruise down on the shuto express way or if you are for all out speed it’s all managed through her control system that being the Emotion Engine.

Inside the car you get an intuitive to use circular gear selector, the dashboard features a prominent styling feature of curves through it’s mix of purple and white and holding these two together is the light strip going from the exterior of the car to even on the seats and the large infotainment screen where M.I.K.U. Resides. Furthermore rear-hinge doors make it more accessible to go in the backseats of the car and be quite comfortable for the rear passengers.

The last predominant exterior feature is the Katami’s Trifold maple branch which shows up in numerous places such as the hood, side and rear to name as tribute for the Masamune VX-3 and Katami’s history while still moving onward to the future.
