Quick fact, typewriters originally had only the numbers 2-9, 1 and 0 were used by hitting the l and o key since they looked so much alike back then. By not including dedicated keys for them the whole machine was simpler and more reliable.
Tell that to my keyboardā¦damned thing sounds like oneā¦ CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK!!! Sometimes I expect a little DING! when I type, it sounds so much like an old typewriter. Even trying to just type quietly/slowly brings out a clack although not as loud as when I type normally. Wonder if it has a never ending supply of those snap things you throw on the ground.
Hopefully Iām in time for the competition: if I am, allow me to present the Packbat Auto Works Jubatus PE*.
* Pretty Expensive.
In keeping with PAWās habitual small displacements, the Jubatus PE pulls 170 HP out of a turbocharged 2.5L triple-carb inline-six. In keeping with the target market, the suspension is ludicrously soft.
That said, PAW probably wonāt be taking home any fuel economy honors this time.

my car in non-US spec version haves 32ohp, hits a hundred in less than 7 seconds and spends less fuel! and thats with the 3 speed auto
hahha, was so hard to get such a low output from such a big engine!
It is actually quite easy with fairly low cams.
Heck, by choking it with the exhaust, I was able to get sub 200HP with a 10.9L engine.
Also, quick question, are you having problems with your ā0ā key? You are very obviously using a lower case āoā instead of zeros and it is somewhat confusing.
yes! thats what i done, but the torque curve looks so much like a truckās engine or a diesel, it comes in a big lump and then fades away! had to lower maximum revs also, they got it so wrong at that time! taking 15o hp from more than 5 liters and fitting 3 gears autos, absurdly heavy cars, such a lazy engineering, it hurts on my mechanical engineersā heart!
and yes! my zero is problematic, someone and I donāt know who spilled water on my notebook!
And the Superbia looksā¦ uhā¦ superb! Really does!
Romanov has received two phone calls during the last week. One, saying that a new competition for cars from all over the world was on the way. The second, saying that Romanov wasnāt allowed to participate, due to recent results.
Not gonna lie, some curse words echoed through the factory that day. Ultimately, Romanov decided to present an honour entry, nonetheless.
The Romanov Schokolad isā¦ well there may have been some alcohol involved in the process of creating the car. How else would one create a hand made alu chassis, powered by a 2.7 liter i6ā¦ with a turboā¦
172 hp, while almost hitting 30 miles per gallon and carefully styled premium interior.
Here is the Schokolad, the sweetest temptation since cars were made of chocolate. (Wat?)
Edit: I wonder if I derped, or if the boards are being weird, I thought I uploaded the file, but it is not showing up in the PM I sent to Vic on my end. Guess Iāll wait to see if there is an issue.
Talking about that, I donāt know if you didnāt do it in the last one because oppositelock didnāt send you his files or something else, but one thing that could be interesting for those who are out due to constantly placing very well, is that you accept their files, and put their score in the sheet at the end so they can know where they would have placed (like between 3rd and 4th.)
Although it depends on how easy it is for you, as it would obviously require a tad more work.
I canāt stop you from making a car. If you want to send it in (and I have time), Iāll run it through and privately spit back your points total.
You would not be included in the final rankings, of course.
Again, assuming I have time, because the other participants are higher priority.

He didnāt send me the files to my knowledge. I always have a little worry with things like that when people post their cars before I get the PM.

Nice, I might make something then. But that isnāt high priority to me, since I donāt like this sort of car, the late 70s american āluxuryā car, for me they are all square ships with marshmallow suspension and disgusting interiors (vulgalour upholstery) .
It looks like Armadaās entry has some good company in that of Romanov and PAW, all small displacement turbo inline sixes, all pulling out around 30mpg!

Except the Feltram has 200hp
30MPG, what kind of gas guzzling monstrosity is that
I am trying something very interesting, and hoping for the best.
It involves a small displacement V8 in a FWD configuration.
