V6 Supercar's Season 1 (closed untill further notice)

I haven’t submitted yet, waiting to hear back  But I plan to have one of the less expensive motors up for option
For shorting your nameing conversion, but to still be easy on you.

Would you accept “V6SC-(Username)-Family” / “V6SC-(Username)-Variant” for the engine submission?

If so, I would like to submit a motor by LHE for this competition.

The 2015 X6-P16-XR-81.2P
that is fine just instead of family and variant, give your engine a name

Dumb question: why is Mt. Panorama (Bathurst) not included in the track list?

Ok, so one thing that is absolutely vital IMO to get clear. Is the cost displayed in both production units and money units for each stage or the total package of car and engine together? Because if people start making virtually speaking 10,000 money units engines that will not leave much for the car if that is limited to 12,000 money units.

The car limit is 120000 money units, so as trackpaduser replied to my query, it’s unlikely to be an issue.

I would still like clarification on it though!

tune limit is now 130000 so there’s 10000 spare to allow for engine change

Sorry I forgot about it, I will add it as the season final.

Sorry for not replying sooner as i live in New Zealand and Timezones so thankyou to all the users who have helped others understand the rules better.

I expect most people will try to make an engine like that so I didn’t and went for economy.

But Lordred seems to go a bit too far in the other direction.

I am so, so into this. I’ll start on my engine tonight

I am glad you are

As per request, I have removed the image with stats (which isn’t the final engine anyways

Engine submitted to UMG.

The LHE X6P15-P81.2RE

Stats a secret till voting phase.

I am proud to present the Marks Mk7L6 Di-3

Marks representatives hope that this candidate for the new V6 Supercars season will be well received by the teams and fans alike.
My plan is to further improve t1he fuel efficiency and reduce the cost of the design, which is producing between six and seven hundred horse power.

thankyou for removing the stats, I thought that reveling the stats of all the engines submitted so far would give others a small advantage

After some preliminary testing, I’ve found a Max HP engine hampers the car on fight technical circuits but proves strongly advantageous on faster tracks.

We’ll think over the best strategy given track selection.

I am withdrawing my proposed plan, how ford and holden make 650 hp at only a 10.0:1 with OHV is crazy and beyond my ability.
That said here is the mighty Brimstone.

well, they do have two more cylinders

4 more? I think 2 no?

I kinda figured we’d want to end up using engines that are somewhat competitive with each other, as opposed to necessarily the fastest. I think Niall beat me in the looks department! :astonished:

I look forward to seeing the specs of the engines

*edit - Image removed.

Still want to tune more before submitting. Just wanted to share what I have so far.
Material cost seems to be the only restriction I don’t need to worry about.
