Oh, I disagree! For only 5kg saving, you lose a whopping 15 points of responsiveness and 53 points on the performance index, therefore my engine should go to the next round
My engine’s broad powerband and high torque will allow far more flexibility in gearbox tuning, there’s a reason mine has the highest performance rating.
Well actually that is very true, niall’s engine has a sweet torque curve true to the grunty cars the tourers are based on, but… with that much power and that much weight, I found it more difficult to balance the chassis to get the power on the road and have the car handle reasonably!
Hi guys, I was wondering if you would like me to add a “upgrade” system where the engine surplier and the teams both get two upgrades through out the season. Upgrade 1 and 2 will both equal to $5000 in game. You as a team and or engine surplier will be able to use these upgrade’s any time in the season (after the race 1 tune deadline) therefore it will add another level of strategy to the compitition.
A simple yes or no is perfectly fine for an answer.
Okay so you have said not to tune our cars, so is this just a body shape and styling round? What specifically are we making here, I know strop had asked about engine fitment and costs factoring in as being possible issues.
I mean: is the gearbox (ratio) also part of the tuning stage?[/quote]
I never put it in the rules so just do what ever with the ratio’s because more than likely people will change them anyway in the tunning stage before each race.
