Oh man, so much variety, so hard to figure out… So we should only vote for one?

you can only vote for 1

My engine is the best compromise of size, power, economy and weight and should therefore go to the next round. :sunglasses:

Oh, I disagree! For only 5kg saving, you lose a whopping 15 points of responsiveness and 53 points on the performance index, therefore my engine should go to the next round :stuck_out_tongue:

My engine’s broad powerband and high torque will allow far more flexibility in gearbox tuning, there’s a reason mine has the highest performance rating.

Well actually that is very true, niall’s engine has a sweet torque curve true to the grunty cars the tourers are based on, but… with that much power and that much weight, I found it more difficult to balance the chassis to get the power on the road and have the car handle reasonably!

yes, but the LHE better then 100hp/liter baby and inexpensive V6 will let you throw ALL the money at the car.

Hi guys, I was wondering if you would like me to add a “upgrade” system where the engine surplier and the teams both get two upgrades through out the season. Upgrade 1 and 2 will both equal to $5000 in game. You as a team and or engine surplier will be able to use these upgrade’s any time in the season (after the race 1 tune deadline) therefore it will add another level of strategy to the compitition.
A simple yes or no is perfectly fine for an answer.

Hmm… That’ll be hell on your logistics and organisation and will delay proceedings. I vote nah.

True, I think ill scrap the upgrade idea unless someone convences me not too

Yeah, that upgrade thing seems like a lot of work.

Battle for 3rd Engine spot, winner takes all

If you have a problem with the game not extracting the engines, just place the lua files manually, I had to do this with some engines.

I am looking forward to the car submissions.

Okay so you have said not to tune our cars, so is this just a body shape and styling round? What specifically are we making here, I know strop had asked about engine fitment and costs factoring in as being possible issues.

I meant make everything but dont tune the suspension or areo cause that is part of the tunning stage for each race.

What about the Gearbox?

Gearbox isn’t stated in the rules so go for your life with the gearbox tab.

I mean: is the gearbox (ratio) also part of the tuning stage?

I never put it in the rules so just do what ever with the ratio’s because more than likely people will change them anyway in the tunning stage before each race.
