Various interesting cars I have photographed

Actually, it’s a not-uncommon thing for people to buy a Buick Regal TourX (which in itself is an Insignia) and lower it and give it body color cladding and all the Opel badging. I was conscious they existed, just never figured I’d see one in the flesh.

Because Opel is cooler as a foreign brand than Buick is to the kinds of people interested in a European made wagon.

A 99 I spotted today. Not mint but looks pretty solid still. One of the most common cars on the road when I was a kid, and now you see a handful of them per year at most…

Of course it’s hard to fathom, but surely it’d also be hard to fathom for Americans that conversely I have seen people put Buick Regal grilles on their Opel Insignias.
