VMO's stuff (MODDING AGAIN!)

I agree with Pleb.

It should also be possible to make an ECS_Body version.

Both the ECS_Body and ECS_Plastic versions should be super easy to make as you just need to change the material in the .lua.

I will try to make this.

Coming soon, a Double diffuser.

The future projects route (isn’t ordered by date):
[ul]
–Fix of Montes UVMesh logo, and improve this.
–Diffusers pack.
–Camouflage pack: geometrical objects, like squares, rectangles and circles with zebra colours, to make this: 37assets.s3.amazonaws.com/svn/camo-bmw3.jpg
–Better looking glass roof.
–Rear bonnet door handle.
–4x4 Rear spare wheel pack.
-New door handles (Montes Handles).
–Find a solution for the NON-47 Ford Grille # of polys.
-Front/rear sump protect (like this: 3.bp.blogspot.com/_iOrZr7OPrNg/T … 1600/0.JPG).[/ul]

Green= Released or finished; Orange=In process; Red=Not started.

New diffuser preview:

In all honesty, you have some great ideas and make some great things but I think you should spend more time on projects, rather than just churning them out semi-unfinished and moving onto the next project.

The double diffuser looks deadly!

Is true: I will try to finish the current projects.

I had this issue (I’m remaking the NOT-Dodge Charger Hellcat grille):

And I set all first nodes to x=0,00cm in the UVMesh and in the grille. The first nodes are the nodes in the axis of simetry.

I exported 4 times changing values, and nothing.

Anyone can help me, please?

Here the source files and the grille: vmogrille004.zip (1.91 MB)

Make sure that there are no verts along the far right of the UV Mesh, except from the ones on the top-right, and bottom-right corners. Like this: http://i.imgur.com/6PH6NkF.png

If there are verts in the middle area (yellow arrow), then select them, and press backspace so that it looks like the picture above.

I don’t have any point in the middle.

I solved the polys problem (now, 1080 polys only: doesn’t affect in the game performance).

is there a way you could put black mesh behind it so you cant see through the car? I always thought that looks kinda cheesy and is the only reason I wont use some of the mods.

RELEASE!

The NON-Ford 47 grille:

NEW VERSION IN THE PAGE 17.

vmogrille008.zip (143 KB)

In the release I put a mesh back.

Have you made sure that the UV Mesh is all one smoothing group? (It has to be assigned to a group, but one only, e.g all UV Mesh polys = group 7)

oh wicked, looks great VMO!

I love how you always deliver big time.

VMO, you sir have done it again

P.S. I kinda like the see-through version, its period correct for a lot of cars

I’d just like to post, holy freaking M4 would be nice

Alternative use of your diffuser…

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: Wow!.. looks good. How much cooling does it provide?
