I just noticed an issue pop up for me. It seems to only do it when I am building a N/A V8 engine. When it’s being ran, in test mode or not, it makes the wastegate “pop”.
I attached the engine that it is doing it on.

that would be the exhaust system your hearing there…and I do get that myself if I drop the revs off its what I think is called back blast or something…
Yeah, if its running fairly rich it’ll backfire and pop a bit.
so when does that popping happen about 11.5:1 or something or a bit higher?
Depends on what fuel system you’re using.
