No matter how many times I hear it, it is as impressive as a masterpiece every time.
Overshadowed by the (mostly) licensed music found in later GTA games, the first two titles’ soundtracks were nevertheless quite good in their own right. This is my personal favorite from the first game:
The '70s-inspired funk rhythm of this song ensures it wouldn’t feel out of place in Interstate '76, which came out in the same year as GTA 1.

I tried to always steal a pickup or juggernaut if I just needed a vehicle since the country station was hilarious.

Pierre Isacsson had an amazing voice. Died as a hero when M/S Estonia sank into the baltic sea in 1994. R.I.P.

New album by Ghost - IMPERA (hey, just like my yet-unreleased brand). Actually I’ve finished, and IMO it’s ok, but far from their best.
