Dion’s voice with the Cheiron studios sound is a-mazing
Another banger from Bush - my favorite song from them after Machine Head:
I remember this from Hot Pursuit 2.
I’m posting this because, with the world in more turmoil than ever, all we need right now is some Peace and Harmony - which is just what this song delivers! It’s amazing to think that it debuted way back in 1991 - and in the first few years after the song came out, the world did indeed enjoy an unprecedented phase of peace and harmony - one that we’ll sadly never see again.
In fact, if you ever listened to this in your car back in your day (whether via radio, cassette tape, or CD - remember those?), you would’ve instantly been in the mood for some enthusiastic driving on a winding road.
The first single from Audioslave’s last album Revelations:
One of my favorite songs by the late great Chris Cornell (along with the title track), and a fitting capstone to his golden era (dating back to when he was frontman of Soundgarden). I still miss him dearly.
The part 3 minutes into it really touches me, and reminds me why the teens aren’t some kind of “golden age” and that I would not want to experience them again…
