What's your current gaming setup?

Core i7-6700K
DDR4-2133 16GB (2 8GB sticks)
Radeon R9 390 non-X 8GB
256GB SSD + 1TB HDD + unused dying 500GB HDD
Win 10 Home
Unknown case
Some inexpensive PSU
Some preowned Samsung monitors (900p and a 4:3 monitor)
Preowned “junk” keyboard
Preowned Sennheiser GSP 300 headset
Logitech G300(S) mouse

Thinking about swapping the Radeon out for a GTX 1080 for some performance uplift.

CPU: Core i7-6700k Overclocked at 4.6 ghz
RAM: DDR4 Gskill 32Gb
GPU: GTX 1080 Founders Edition
Windows 10 Pro
NZXT H440 Case
PSU: Corsair CX750M
Monitor: Asus 4k 27inch
Mouse: Razer deathadder chroma
Keyboard: Logitech G810 Orion (mechanical)
For gaming, I also have a xbox controller and a logitech G27 wheel and pedals mounted on a folding stand.

CPU : Ryzen 3 2200G @ 3.8Ghz
GPU : still using the IGP for now. i overclocked it a bit, but can’t remember the clock setting
RAM : 2x 8GB of Klevv CRAS II (WITH FANCEH RED LED!)
(i fucking wish i can turn it off, but i can’t really complain as it was the best deal i got at the time)

Case: some chinese $25 ‘gaming’ case. branded GAMEMAX. but i can’t even remember it’s model name. and it’s production has already stopped. this thing. but in white with black highlights

PSU : a super overkill super flower 80+ bronze 650w (long story short, i didn’t plan for it)

Storage:

  • a samsung 850EVO 250gb (because i made a dumdum and ordered an 850 old stock instead of the 860 when i made the purchase)
  • a 2TB seagate drive (5400RPM! who would’ve thought a 5400rpm HDD still exists in 3.5" form? certainly not me when i bought it assuming i’m getting a 7200rpm drive)

monitor:

  • AOC 21 inch something. it’s 1080p, and it has IPS panel. it ain’t the best. but it’s very much ‘good enough’
  • a freebie 15.6" acer monitor with a broken power button, and THE ABSOLUTE SHITTIEST PANEL I’VE EVER SEEN. but hey. free is free

keyboard : a $8 logitech. it’s not broken = it’s good. (no, really, i’ve used keyboard much worse than this)
mouse : A4Tech 747XL (on my 3rd mouse of the same model. it’s just the best mouse i can get for the price. I FREAKING LOVE IT)

audio :

  • a shitty dollar store $10 headphones
  • edifier XM6PF 2.1 speakers. it’s quite good.

This was originally a pre-built “gaming” computer ordered from a Finnish computer component seller Jimm’s (they make decent builds without bloatware, the only thing they add on top of the operating system is a custom startup background image) so I don’t even know/remember the exact specs of some stuff (like the PSU) but I’ve added more memory and a new GPU to it.

But it’s this kinda stuff:
i5 4670K, 3.4 GHz
16 Gb RAM (was 8)
GTX 970 4Gb
a 128 GB SSD and a 2 TB HDD
Windows 7

If I had the money I’d get a new processor, a bigger SSD and Windows 10. Most games I like to play are ok with the graphics card but some could use a faster processor.

Monitor is an AOC 24 inch 144Hz thing.

Keyboard is some flat trash plank that came with my earlier Packard Bell from ages ago, kept it because I like the volume wheel and shortcut button to open the calculator.

Mouse is a Logitech G402, one of those that has the “sniper” button under the thumb that lowers the sensitivity when held down and to my surprise I’ve found myself actually using it in Borderlands and Fallout 4 for sniping.

Then there’s all kinds of miscellaneous peripherals, decent Sony headphones, G27 wheel, Xbox360 controller, Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro joystick (oooold but still good for flying), AKAI MPK 49 MIDI keyboard for the techno making, and an external BluRay drive.

I use an MSI Infinite X prebuilt and my specs are:

The Motherboard: MSI Z370M Mortar
The CPU: i7 8700 @ 4386mHz(very mild OC)
The RAM: Kingston 2x8Gb DDR4-2400 @ 2448 mHz because of the mild OC
The GPU: GTX1060 w/ 6Gb GDDR5 VRAM
The storage: 256 Gb m.2 nvme SSD and 2Tb Seagate Barracuda HDD
The OS:Windows 10 Pro

I also have a Corsair HS50 which I had to get a 3.5mm separator for and I have a Trust GXT 152 Exent mouse, a mousepad that isn’t really special and a Corsair K55 RGB keyboard. Don’t forget my Acer RT280K 4k monitor(which I really don’t need but okay)

I use a Dell G7 gaming laptop, with a Corsair K55 keyboard, Corsair M65 mouse, Corsair Void Pro wireless headset, and a Thrustmaster TMX Pro wheel for ATS and BeamNG. My G7’s specs are computer%20stats And mine has a Geforce GTX 1050Ti, 16 GB ram, 8th gen i7 hexa-core, 1TB HDD + 150 gb SSD, Windows 10.
