Can we talk about how dumb of a name “Sportage” is? I am not about to start drawing lines in the sand about whether or not you can name your car with a nonexistent word, but really? Sportage? Its not even a real word.
What was the train of thought here? "Ohhh well its an SUV and its for sports and SUV stands for SPORT utility vehicle so we have to name it something sporty like uhhh… ‘Sport’ …uhh… ‘age’ … yeah ‘Sportage’ "
Really? You couldn’t come up with anything better? Like something that alludes to sports or at least sounds cool? Like Excursion or Explorer or Range Rover or Yukon or Santa Fe or Cayenne?
