Funnily enough, that’s how I normally roll: numerous variants all on the same chassis.
.
I aimed for 1946 as the balance point between modern capability and medieval styling.
Meanwhile, Beam fixed itself?!
Reading the Trio’s commentary on the factory cars, I have to wonder if some cars got others’ comments?
Your styling appears to have improved!
Quick update: I’ve spent several hours fixing errors I found on both the spreadsheet and the website. During this process, the site may experience some issues. Once everything is working, I’ll let you know. The inspection results will likely be posted tomorrow.
In other news, 1946 CBC line up is almost ready for release, our staff are fine tuning the CBC Outsider, a light workhorse truck for cheap with a torquey motor, and CBC Quest, a sporty sedan with a more premium feel and lastly (But our first release) the CBC Carrier, a 2 door light weight sporty cruiser!
All cars have been approved! The Time Trial preview post is up! Please make sure to read the disclaimer!
Just you wait, the Scoria R will win big
Looking at my car’s posted HP power, it seems a bit low. The game was giving me 312 HP, but the post only says I have 232 HP.
Coincidently, 312 HP = 232 kW. Is it possible there’s a unit conversion error somewhere? I can’t speak for the other contestants, but I suppose it’s possible that the error could be present in their cars as well.
This has actually been discussed. Automation provides two different measurements. I believe it is engine power and brake horsepower. Independently, I will thoroughly review all the numbers tomorrow, as I could have messed something up.
Hmm, I didn’t know it was already a known issue, my bad.
Hey, I think you had the wrong CBC Carrier mk1 T/A, It had a 300hp boxer 6 not an 80hp one … I sent the updated version after the release of quality bonuses.
Can I suggest to have the year jumps be every 5 years? I’d feel each season would feel more fresh as it would make a difference in the technology and incentivises creating new models to match the time.

I think it is a good idea. I’ll try to create a form with the suggestions and a poll before the season ends, so we can discuss and vote on the ideas.
No worries, man! In fact, I think you’re right. I also scratched my head when the data file and the game screen numbers didn’t match, to the point of researching how much power is actually lost to transmission.
The data file contains several tables, and I’ve been pulling the power information from one called TrimResults. Since your conversion was a perfect match, I checked again, and the number from the EngineResults table is also 232. That means I was wrong about the difference.
I’ll start working on setting up the Time Trial event, and once that’s done, I’ll focus on a fix. I’ll also check if any other numbers might have the same conversion issue.
I really appreciate all the support through the messages you guys send, both here and via PM. Don’t hesitate to correct me. I don’t mind at all! This is a collective effort, and as you’ve probably noticed, English isn’t even my first language, so there’s already a language conversion challenge to begin with.
One thing I want to implement before the next event is displaying your names on the car profiles. If anyone wants to use a different name than the one shown here, just let me know. I’d like to make this an option in the members’ area of the website I’m building, but that might take some time.

Never mind the engine and wheel power thing. It seems that Kreator is right about the conversion. Still I believe I don’t have your updated car.
One last thing for today. Maybe.
As most of you know, I deal with a really annoying health condition that causes constant pain, 24/7. Some days are worse than others, like yesterday, and when that happens, my head just doesn’t function as well. I’m not sure if it’s the medication, getting older, or both, but sometimes my brain completely wipes things out.
So if I ever respond to something like it’s brand new when it’s already been discussed, please don’t be mad. It’s not intentional.
