Mine’s not exactly… sporty. Looks bold and aggressive, but isn’t. 1200 cc, 99.9 hp. To be fair, I was trying to duck the penalties while keeping the car quick, but there’s only so much quick you can get on such a tight budget while keeping the car under 100 hp.
Mine’s Straight from the 80’s. can’t remember stats, and can’t be bothered checking, but I know I have 9 seats.
Wait…what is the benchmark car’s time? I thought he hadn’t announced it yet!
Well, I’m deffo gonna get hit hard by the Displacement tax. (2.0L i4)
Power? not so much. Only 136hp.
Fuel Efficiency? 8.17km/L
Reliability? 74.8 (Wouldn’t go any higher:( )
Total Build Cost? 11,091.62
My car is somewhat shit.
Patiently Expects a Last Place
Huh, you’re right. I pulled that one out of my arse. Or maybe I just got mixed up. I was assuming that the original car was getting something around 11:00-11:30. I think that’s a fair guess for the car Puffster mentioned

a 75 hp car with 165 mm tyres? tbh I think it’ll be more like 13:00 Also, look carefully at the penalties, emissions is by far the worst one…although I’m regretting making my engine so big… 1.9L with 164 hp. Atleast it got 5.5L/100km
I wouldn’t call my entry an enthuasiast car neither. But i am betting the winner is going to have a small turbocharged engine and a practical body.

Here’s where you got the 11 minute benchmark time from Strop…

The easy way to see tire cost is change your tyre size to desired setting and keep hovering the button, Autometion will show you then. Alternately you can go into the lua file (trim i think) and look it up
And the track time, well, the benchmark car is currently over 11 mins on green hell, so i wouldn’t be too worried [Emphasis added by HighOctaneLove,

Ah, right! So I was pulling my pulling it out of my arse out of my arse, then
What are everybody’s emissions like? Thanks to fancy turbo work, I was getting something like 132 for the car. I coulda slashed that by 25% if I used hypereutectic pistons but my engine revs too high. I know that’s pretty good as far as Australian 2002 standards go, but in terms of Norway…
Mine emits 107 units of pollution but doesn’t have a turbo or a sweet coupe body,
My car farts out 115 units of pollution, which I don’t think is too bad overall.
Finished entering all the cars in the spreadsheet, and as a teaser while waiting I can release some of the best/worst in class:
Engine power range from 84,2 to 320 hp
Torque range from 107 to 332
Loudness range from 20,3 to 44,3
Emissions range from 52 to 332,4
Top Speed range from 168,6 to 250,4
0-100 range from 5,1 to 12,4
Running costs from 1580 to 2892
Environmental res from 81,07 to 102,86
Somebody has a faster accelerating car than I do. WHO IS IT! (Also 320hp lol, so much penalty).
How does one get Env rest of 102? Increased quality on the chassis? Carbon fiber?
ohey, I got the lowest emissions
And that must’ve been an insane increase in chassis quality, +6 just got me +1 environmental resist. Full CF seems to be the only way…but how can that be within budget.
EDIT: also Strop, not as much penalty as you might think, just from running 800 cc above the minimum allowed you “missed out” on 32 points. Running 320 hp means a penalty of -22 points. Formulas are confusing
I guess many of the best and worst belong to that 320hp car
OH LAWL.
i can confirm that my car is the SLOWERST car on the field
84,2HP? me
107Nm torque? well… turns out it’s NOT me
12.4s 0-60? also me
52 emission? weirdly not me. i think somebody else is using hyperteutic cast pistons.
now that i think about it… that green hell bonus points are gonna kill me, and utility. should’ve gone 1.8l
also. did anybody end up going with v8s?
Not I, I’m running 1800cc! As the formula states:
I think he means: if you would have gone for a 1000cc layout, you would have got 32 extra points. 1000 -1800 x -4 / 100 = 32
Yes, exactly Asdren, thanks
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the bonus points going the other way! My bad guys, I’m pretty distracted.
