Zenshi Altrea XAZ50, XBZ50 (5th Generation), 2017+

The 5th generation Altrea made it’s debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, replacing the larger, heavier 4th generation.

The Altrea is the 2nd car in Zenshi’s lineup to make use of the “Shinka” design, the first being the 2016 GT. The 5th gen Altrea proved itself to be much more efficient, not to mention more striking to the eyes, in comparison to the 4th generation Altrea.

The QS25GDA is Zenshi’s choice of 4 cylinder of the Altrea, with power rating at 215 HP @ 6,000 RPM and 189 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 RPM with premium unleaded gasoline. Regular gas can also be used with this engine, power dropping to a barely noticable 210 HP and 185 lb-ft of torque.

A 6-Speed manual is available for all models, 6-Speed AvanTech (Zenshi’s DCT) Transmission being optional.

Zenshi Altrea Touring

The Altrea touring is a wagon version of the XAZ50, known as the XBZ50. More details about the wagon will be coming soon.

I really like the car’s design, but these engine and trim designations… LZ3 ACE GDMTE… GTS-30T Type M… Have mercy

You forget about the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec II Nur? And the engine in that is a RB26DETT, I don’t think this naming is even that extreme  What about the Mazda FD ('99 onwards) with the Type RB 4AT powered by a 13B-REW :stuck_out_tongue:

Max JDM.

What happened in 2000-2002 and 2008-2010?

This is going by production year, however the Altrea wasn’t present in Zenshi’s 2001 Lineup.

3rd gen Altrea ended production late 2008 and models continued being sold all the way to mid 2009.

Zenshi X Star XXN54, 2013-2016

The X Star made it’s way into Zenshi’s lineup in 2013 as the compact crossover of the market, and shares the same platform (N54) as the 4th Generation XGN54 Zenshi Kamata.

The trims offered on the X Star focused from city cruising to off-road trekking. Despite being a crossover, the X Star still possesed very tight and sportslike handling, and shares some of it’s engines with the Kamata, the QS20DA and the QS25DAT (QS25GDA and QS25GDAT as of 2016) mated to either a 6-Speed Manual or the 6-Speed AvanTech.

A 2nd Generation has not been planned as of this day.

Now that’s a crossover I can get behind. More than that, I think you might have made a crossover that doesn’t look like its body has been poorly stretched over itself. It actually looks great!

Haha, don’t worry, the X Star is the only Zenshi to be pulling that off.
